If either of you could look back, and re-read what was said without raised blood pressure, you would be able to see that what happened was about as "small fries" as it gets...

There nearly was a single instance of name calling - but it only came as close as implication - then the demand was for an action which did not take place.

Essentially, two people were pretty much butting heads;
Both parties had a leg to stand on;
Feelings were hurt.

Suggestions of disappointment kind of baffle me...

Strife will find those who seek it - it's around every bend.

You're all welcome to hang out with this group ~ nothing ever changed;
Mark never joined (probably 100% because he has no FB profile);
As to the three of you, weather you realize it or not, I can respect decisions made - even if I don't fully understand (but here I am repeating myself).

We live in a world full of strife, hardship, and alternate perspectives;
I aspire to be at peace with people as best as I can;
The flip side of this stance is that I can NEVER be at peace with everyone 100% of the time - as seen in this instance even indecision made via absentia, is in essence to be interpreted as a decision in and of itself.

Unfortunately my stance sometimes means that my friends will be sore by my (in)decision - I only hope that in time they can understand my attempting to thread the line.

Friends stand up for you, and support your decsions.
I would never let someone disrespect any of my friends. Not the way you and everyone else did.
I've made my decision I won't hangout with this group. Greg left because of the same reason, and Jon left for a reason I'm not 100% clear on as I haven't seen or heard from him much, but you don't lose 3 long time, active members for no reason.

You made the thread while I was not online (IIRC I was actually was sick, sleeping in bed at the time) August 6th, and 11:18pm;

Then by PURE chance I popped in online before work, while lying in bed;
(time/date corrected because I did a couple spelling corrections - but the post after mine was made at 8:12am, and is unedited - so that should back up my timeline assertion.)

I was offline for much of the day, but did post a couple things - then came later to notice you posted this;

Sure there were messages sent - but I need to stress just how much was going on that I wasn't lurking to see in even semi-real-time...

If you had stuck around till even the end of the work day, you could totally say I was in some way doing (or not doing) something which was I supportive towards you;
But Kass - I wasn't disrespectful;
I was at work.
I thought I made it known that I have had politics coming outta my heine about the interwebz... so I am very covert *IF* I go online - which often I simply don't.

I like getting paid, and being able to afford a roof over my head;
If choosing to stay offline to keep my job, is deemed as the way I "disrespected" you - then so be it...

disappointment in many ways.... 1 not one of us members who use to post when this group was doing well is posting.... 2 we as a group always welcomed people no matter what... no matter where they are from.... or even if they have a car.... 3 most of all i am disappointed that this all wasnt contained in pm's.... we are grown adults here... 4 this actually really pisses me off.... the fact in the members we have in this city and the knowledge we have as a group.... that we dont have some of the sickest cars on this site..... we all use to work together to constantly improve our cars.... now hmp.... some of the most intelligent members refuse to post due to all of this.... that is sad....
