Do you know how much of a pain in the ass it will be to change the mounts 3 times? Plus I'm sure I would have to foot the bill for shipping and I'm not paying 50-100 each way for shipping

doing to whole swap is really easy;
I have lost pretty much all respect for those guys - especially after my purchase of mounts from them.
the original vendor of these mounts has not "stirred the pot", rather they have attempted to be helpful by posting step-by-step pictures of how to do the install.

...just saying.

sorry man.

yup, you were right there when I thought about it, and not even thirty minutes later I bought my tickets, and was preparing to go to the airport...

I love spontaneity...
and haven't been able to be truly spontaneous for some time...
I left some stuff at home, I neglected to cover some things with my room mate...
but I don't care...

I'm flying back tomorrow...

I would like nothing more than to find a message on my machine of someone at work asking me to come in some time this past week.

I don't really want to schill out 300 for new mounts. Since my dad and brother bought a hydraulic press last year I might just use that and get new mounts this spring

seriously.

That's what I did... they only sat in my possession for a bout eighteen months before I decided to use them

Well last night was certainly a success. After getting the car back from Kal-Tire, the nokians work great Super sticky and comfortable to drive... I was extremely happy with them.

Then I get a call that my MAP sensor was in, so I rushed over to grab that before the parts desk closed, and after getting the resident gearhead (and trifecta tuner) Andrew to gap them for me while I put in my sensor, we threw in the step colder NGK plugs, and everything is now running smoothly. Boost is back up to normal levels, which means there wasnt a leak like we had previously thought. Upside is, I already ordered the charge pipes and intercooler, so they are getting upgraded nonetheless No codes, full boost, way smoother idle (gapped to a lean 0.33), and I was a happy camper cruising around last night.

Now I just have to find time tomorrow to put in the sportline lowering kit and wait for the zzp packages to show up!

Merry early Christmas to myself...

It was cool monday AM when I left;
There was a sciffing of snow and my street was straight ice...
So i was moderatly dressed when I left...
Just had that for my arrival, abd it was sufficient.

Oh, and you were all right, my sidewalk was straight (trampled) ice...
My room mate was so lazy that one of the two rolls of flyers was an ice brick...

Sheesh.

Well I got the sidewalk taken care of.

...and I understood you even before googling the term.

The sidewalk is perfect now.

It was 27c on the drive to the airport, and you had better believe I made the most of my last day in LA...
