Mark let me know when you're interested in a built motor. i'll be going to a 2.1L which means my 2.0L girdle will be up for sale. less timing cover, oil pump, and balancer. oh and you'll need the stock water pump as well, i run an electric. but its just a 2.0L pauter rods, JE9.0 pistons. gm bearings. balance shaft delete. i know how you get tickled going in to the red so if you want to go with an electric pump as well, just throw in some cams and springs and take it up to 8k.

 

oh i know. but hey if you get your word in i'm gonna get mine lol. and yeah with a tire it would be going 11s on that same power. i mean it went 12.6 trapping 124 on only a 2.05 60'. pulling a 1.7' there's 12.29 right there not even factoring in the ability to nls and hold traction.

lol i wouldnt sell the car jordan.... it owes you nothing..... to sell it would be foolish coz really it isnt worth much specially as a down for a new truck....... i would just buy a truck and keep the car.......

 

it all depends on how much i make this summer. if i get a field job i should have no problem covering both vehicles. if i get a office job it might be hard. i really want a nice truck that will last me a while.

 

oh btw the engine won't need anything. only has about 600 miles

 

do as you wish....... all i am saying is you own that car.... never get rid of something you own specially when you got to make payments on something new.... just put it away, you never know when it will come in hand to have it... you can save cost in insurance by having 2 cars and even the coverage of the car if you dont use it.... if you store it the insurance will be dirt cheap.... honestly i would buy a used truck at first unless you are working full time.... if your working full time then might as well buy new.....

over the last few months i keep running into a cts... i believe its silver, maybe pewter, i am sure it is a vspec car, with aftermarket exhaust, and god knows whats under the hood....it is a beautiful car, and the driver keeps giving me thumbs up.... i assume he likes my car..... the driver could pass as jonathan's brother, the resemblence is uncanny.... i ended up behind him due to traffic.... and i knew he was gonna gun it.... so i went too.... honest to god i hung right on his bumper..... i found this could be a very fun race if any of you happen to know who he is..... maybe he is on GMToC? i would love to do a roll with this guy, i figure from a dig he would have me due to it being rear wheel drive.....

Actually for every tenth you pick up in your 60ft will gain you two tents or close faster to at the end. So even with a 1.7 60ft you would be close to teetering into the 11's.
