I'm pretty sure you're wrong haha. Because we had a good discussion about your 13.9 run afterwards. Your time is in the 2012 Manitoba section. If you know when you ran you could find it much faster than me.

You and me both lol. I found an Alpha 10 GTR on there today with 1068whp. Only 145k. I think I could sell my house and live in the GTR. It's got heat and air conditioning. I'm golden!

Lol I don't look at vehicles on eBay. Too much for shipping if I here did pull the trigger!

Got bored and installed my 54mm throttle body on my truck today! Went to pressure the fuel lines up and the battery only had enough juice to get 15 psi on the gauge and crank it once! Needless to say it kinda put a damper on my moment of triumph! Lol

If you cut 2 tenths off your 60ft you would be right with his time. Possibly better.

if I recall correctly, I was having severe traction issues that night...

bad enough that I was wondering if the tires were possibly balloning at speed, limiting traction...

The joys of drag radials. They either hook or you blow the tires off. But still far better than street tires.

Man, I hate it when dead threads reemerge! Lol

Got me thinking about neutral balance shafts again! I have zzp's, ottp's and level zero's delete kit. I still think I'm going with the delete kit as I don't mind the vibrations. Anybody have any opinion?

Hey guys, I haven't been on here for ages.... BUT as a departing note the balt is gone as of last week. I stayed with chevy, but moved on to a Camaro 2SS/RS. It was great getting to know many of you and thanks for all the help along the way! Hopefully we will cross paths again someday!

Cheers

Wait, you have thrre different balance shaft delete kit's??

Can I come over for some show & tell?

I was pretty serious about buying one from that crappy delta site... till they pissed me off when I was trying to get GMToC off the ground...

I've waffled since then...

If I had an LSJ, there is no way I wouldn't install one.
(The LNF's apparently can detect too quick of an engine revolution shift - and then limp mode can pop up.)

You can come over and check them out anytime man. I'll just have to dig them out of the parts pile!

from what I recall, none of the aftermarket version of the balance shaft delete kits are an exact copy of the GM kit... so it would be nice to see the difference(s), and QC...

I'm gone til Sunday afternoon ish. It's only 1 delete kit. Zzp's and ottp's are lightened neutral balance shaft kits. I also have the stock ones from my ripped apart motor for comparrison

I will be running ZZPs NBS. Just for the fact I like knowing you can put it back to stock later on if you want. Once you delete them, that's how it stays. But if you don't care about that. Just delete them.

I'll be deleting then since I will have a spare motor. In the nbs thread someone had zzp's lock up and break the chain. Can't remember who it was

It was Tjolley. Doesn't concern me. I trust ZZP over someone who built their motor and had it happen. Few factors could play into it.

Whoa!!

IIRC the GM kit was one that you could swap back, because you inserted a shafts without any counterweights - but ZZP's kit wholly deleted the shafts... is this right?

No ZZP's are just made out of a different material than the GM. With the delete kit you have to put plugs on the backside of the block where the shafts sit in to block off oil passages. But once you press them in, they stay there.
