Fuckkk I hate this stupid ******* car. I just spent $3800 getting damage fixed from a pothole and getting my side skirts replaced. And now I destroyed my car the exact same way I did 2 years ago by ******* up my axle install. Which destroyed the intermediate shaft last time but this time it's on the drivers side.

The moment this is fixed my car is going up for sale.

lol it was fun as it gets. from the dig there was no way i could compete with the charger or mustang. on the roll tho i right with them side by side. well the charger and myself pulled off to glenmore. and i was in front, of coarse i know who is in the charger right so we get about mid way off the off ramp and we go. lol well **** we were in 3rd gear in full pull and the charger couldnt pass me. we get into that construction zone under the bridge. hahahahahaha we both fly past a blue dodge ram with a headache rack and a bunch of other cars. lol i bet we were close to 150 160 km running through the zone. hahahahaha next thing i know i see the red and blues going hahahahahhah. so we make it easy and pulled over hahahaha like im gonna run from anyone. the cop gets us secured and pulls in behind. he jumps out and starts asking us several questions, lol we just answered honest. he says ok, goes back to the truck writes up a ticket. think about what we could have been nailed with. we both got a simple reasonable speeding ticket and that was it. hahahahahah as he gives me mine he is telling me holy crap you got this thing tuned up. he couldnt believe i was able to keep the charger at bay. hahahahahah he`s laughing and tells us both we should see the video it was awesome he thought hahahahahahahah. needless to say we both thanked him for being really cool and giving us a break. we went up to barlow to have a laugh before i went home hahahahah

haha it was definitely a sight. Me and Amanda were behind you guys, I was ripping with the other mustang, and after following you guys off the exit ramp, you guys took off and I didnt really step on it. Saw some weaving, then the lights came on. I figured for sure he would nail you guys to the wall, cause I seen Mark pull over, then Jayson cut way to the right trying to go around. Cop hopped outta his truck, ran into the middle lane and pointed Jayson to pull in behind mark. Sneaky ass truck they have there. We hopped onto deerfoot and headed home, and on that drive we saw three more separate ghost police with people pulled over. One other truck, a dodge sprinter (weird right!) and one other I cannot remember. I was definitely driving right on the speed limit till we pass Airdrie haha.

those were some damn good runs. i didnt think the ol m62 had a chance til it proved me wrong. it was screaming like it never screamed before. the guy in the mustang must have **** his pants when i passed him around 6500. hahahahahahahahah i am down for some official runs with witnesses and vids for who ever wants to try me. i also know of many places we can do this in privacy with no pigs. if you wait til next year to try me it maybe too late for you. i just wish these cars could dig better, fwd fml

calgary actually has a abundance of ghost cars that would fool anyone. 2 or 3 chargers, i have seen the sprinter, 3 or 4 dodge trucks, couple of ford trucks, couple of caynons, not including any multi nova cars. even the new paint scheme is brutal to detect. the black and white will take some getting use too.

Mark, I'm sure you know this, but I'm going to post it for the sake of pressing it;
The quest for more power is unending;
There will always be someone bigger, better, or faster than you;
Should you get to the top of the totem pole, there will always be someone looking to displace you.
It is my opinoin that one is much better off creating a vision for their car - this will be cheaper, and allow you to enjoy your car more, once you've nailed down the setup.
Have I thought of going crazy on my car? - I sure have...
But I realize that leaving it where it is for now (at the possible expsense of having a supercharged car beat me) is more worthwhile than compromising the reliability of it, which would result in inconvenience, downtime, and added expense.

Your car is sweet as-is...
You could put one car length, three car lengths, or three bus lengths on said Mustang, and the Mustang owner still lost - and will be equally surprised at "this little four banger" tooling him.

Just saying

i agree with you but you know just as i do i wont stop on this car. i will blow it up sooner then later. once i do blow it up with this set up i will go up in the ranking of power adders. if you didnt know i have already have plans to max the m62 out, including partial motor build to pave the way for a tvs. this car is nothing but a shell that contains my fun. parts are transfer in and out to increase the fun factor. maybe one day i will find a end to this platform and not continue to build on it. that day is not today nor in the near future.

this maybe the part you dont understand. see jonathan i have paid this car off 3 times over. in fact i am working on the forth and final time. i have thrown away so much money to own one of these cars and i dont care how much more i continue to throw away. how many guys do you know have paid $75 000 just to own a cobalt? that number is not including any performance parts. i dont care about reliability or how far i can travel on it. if i did i would have never eliminated my spare tire, just to fill that hole with a sub box. my goal is not to be the fastest cobalt, my goal is simply to beat the living **** out of this car til it breaks. then fix it and beat it some more til it breaks. i am not like the others, i dont get butthurt when i loose. after every time i run with anyone, at the end i am always laughing smiling and sharing a great time with whoever i ran. i have nothing to loose, i am not suppose to be fast. ( cobalt ss/sc = slowbalts) i feel cause i put the effort in and work as hard as i do in the car, it is the reason why i have some speed and own what you called a sweet ride. i feel alot of you have forgotten what fun is when it involves sports cars. too many guys get butthurt when they loose or when they break. even i have been guilty of this in the past. with time and hindsight i have realize who really cares. the point is to have fun. i know you realize there is nothing more fun in this world then to be door to door with a higher hp car and he is worried that a slowbalt may beat him if you didnt get that then you would have never owned a tracked grand am. to be honest i dont find it fun to be on a set schedule to go here or there to snap a couple of pics just to move on to the next spot. i much rather be turning wrenches, cussing, and bleeding all over the place trying to constantly improve. then going out and bag the living **** out of it til it dies. to do this with good friends makes it even better. to help improve my friends cars is also what i want to do, because this isnt the mark show here. friends matter too. i dont care what people think car clubs should be. i stick with what car clubs have evolved from. what people dont get is the very reason that cars are fun. that reason is very simple, the smile it brings when you mash the gas pedal through the floor boards. win or loose.

Ok...

I just didn't want to see you in a bad spot again.

I have felt for you when you were in the midst of having a non-running car, being financially tapped out, and in a really low spot - I only wrote that for you in the hopes of not seeing you there again.

That all said - I can't wait to see what you have in store!

ok on too happier topics

ok guys and ladies, with the events that happened this year with the flood and all. i feel we should all head down to the high river show n shine this year. this show n shine is the biggest of the year as far as numbers are concerned. there is normally over 1500 cars, but im gonna assume that this year may be over the top. it is located downtown high river, and spills into the park. i believe the gates open around 9 am and its very important to be there early. even if you arrive early there will be a tremendous line up to get in.

I had heard the S&S was a "go" for a while now, but the weekend of the 14th, they put up signs, so I walked down town last week to see what was up...

Downtown HR is in sad shape, only a few businesses are up & running, but there's a temporary mall that might be up & running - and it's been suggested that port-o-potties will be here, and food vendors will be all over...

I guess we'll see...

I think this is something for HR residents who still live in the area to look forward to, but I don't think it's going to be anywhere near the size it has in the past - in light of how little is up & running...
