And I was door to door with another 2.4 who has pulled stock LSJ's.
as in jedi i mean tvs, and dont tell me he wont be doing the same after infra tunes him.
as if dk, there is now way a tuned 2.4 with a air intake can take a stock lsj. my orange car was basically stock and i was running 15.3 @ racecity. iirc steve(who had more mods and better tune) was running at his best 15.9 @race city. tell me how you beat a lsj? was the driver a 16 yrs female?

Although his pontiac is a little quick. I know I pulled on him when we raced shortly after his tune but it put up a little bit of a fight.

steve was not too amazing in the launch department if i remember correctly........id believe a modded 2.4L could hold a stock lsj, id say drivers race at that point. Cmon guys fwd within 20-30hp of each other any number of losses from bad shifts or worn out clutches, rly dirty air filter, clogged cat....ect ect ect, would allow the 2.4L to win
im not saying i dont believe you, however there must be something drastically wrong with the lsj. at least you had a feel good moment.
to further back up those numbers his brother 2.4 ran a similar time, even beat him by .1 or .2 seconds.
i do realize the best thing a 2.4 wants is a cai and tune, it gives it about 20 hp. but thats still a few hp away from the factory 205hp of the lsj(which was underrated by factory)

If he started in 3rd doing an 80k roll on I don't doubt that. Like I said the car would lug hard when you floor it. Way taller gearing in the F35 trans than what you have.
I was sitting here going "Are you hopped up on that crinack son? 80 MPH is the perfect spot in 3rd for an LSJ!" Then I remembered you silly canadians go by KPH! So yeah 80K in 3rd is just terrrible lol, even though I cant imagine the 2.4 was at the best rpm at that speed either.
