Well guys, I could use a little bit of prayer from you...
I believe my transmission is making noise (output bearings?);
I am going to try to have a sit down with the service manager at the dealership beside my work tomorrow to see about them looking at it under the guise of possible powertrain warranty;
This is why I went GMS1, and why I have not installed aftermarket stuff on it...
(well I do have a downpipe, but a warranty voiding CAI is decidedly absent)

It started making noise a couple days ago while I was in Winnipeg, then by the time I got back into town, it got a fair amount louder.

I do have a back up, but I really hope I don't have to go this route.

My limited power train warranty is good for 5years or 160,000km;
I bought the car in February 2010, and am currently at somewhere around 142,000km - so if this was going to get covered under warranty, timing is ideal.

ice cream cake would be good. maybe a log would be better because our freezer is small.

dont worry about the food guys really. we are use to this so it doesnt take much effort to get a few things ready. usually the cleaning of the house is the effort part. however we just cleaned the house so i really dont have alot to do but get a lil bit of food prepared.

I haven't done things the cheapest way, and I have retained a bone stock appearance for just this reasoning;
I hope to not have to use the spare F35 that I have, but if I must, I will...
I would much rather play by their rules, and get this fixed under warranty - especially since I have 7 months or 14,000km left in my original powertrain warranty.

I sent a polite email to the service manager this morning, touched base via phone at lunch (which was probably a good thing, as he hadn't noticed it yet), and hope to hear from him with in a day or so...

I'm crossing my fingers...

Paper filter back in;
GMS1 back in;
I'll probably even swap the downpipe back tonight...

lets see if I can remember here all I've had done under warranty;
-two passenger headlights (condensation)
-one drivers side headlight (condensation)
-front bow tie (gold peeling)
-rear bow tie (gold peeling)
-cat back exhaust (split exhaust tip, non servicable on it's own)
-rockers & lifters (noisey, observed during a dealer visit)
-everything from the deck up (after the rockers were done, Jon saw my car start to skoe from the cracked head!)
-rear brake pads (TSB cited to comp me essentially a rear brake job)
-passenger seat belt (set off 'service airbag' SES)
-tire (damaged in-transit)

I think that's about it...
