Does anyone know what Highway 3 is like? The Crowsnest Highway I believe. Just wondering as far as condition, typical traffic, is it divided, etc.
I've only been on it once, and that was about 8 years ago and it was on a bus for hockey, so I don't remember any of it.

it is not a divided highway;
I use that route when going to oregon - it's the quickest way from me to get to the BC/Idaho border crossing that I use from here...
if you take it eastbound it crosses from alberta into montana too... just an FYI
traffic?
Come on, you're in SK - picture SK secondary highway traffic... that's about it.

But thanks for the insight!
the #3 should be good;
on the bc side of the #3 there are always people who are going slower than I care for - but I don't generally have to wait too long for a passing opportunity... just watch out for the Gestapo!!

Drive went good. It was raining the whole way there which kind of slowed things down, but the only stretch of highway I found bad was Medicine Hat to Taber. Really busy and not nearly enough passing lanes. Everything else was not bad at all. Cobalt averaged 7.2 L/100km there and back with some driving around Fernie.
