No I saw a sick LoTuS down town on the drive home Brand new like first 500 km new - sexy orange it wasnt quite the sunbust but it wasnt neon either it was just hot! huge brakes and sick looking rotors.

exactly, it doesnt always have to do with power and speed.

 

yup the lotus looks 100x better than any cobalt

 

some of the fastest cars in the world hp wise and top speed wise are slaughtered by slower cars that are much better in acceleration and cornering ability.

In my mind a super car has to have some tremendous acceleration, top speed and handling. They cannot be trucks or SUVs


Some of those are are legit but there are a fair number that are not.

The Lotus Elise just is not that fast or rare. It handles good and that's about it

 

lol wow, that website is on crack......i should totally e-mail the latest track results of a lotus against the ss/tc and ask if they'll submit the ss/tc as a supercar

ok granted i only looked for the elise on that last list, so i looked for a different list. this list still has the elise on it ranging from a few differen't years.

where the lotus gets the ss/tc is weight, bar none, the lotus is 1000lbs lighter, as well the 2009 Lotus Evora will likely be much faster the ss/tc.

 

again in a straight line the lotus is still faster then the tc and will still dominate in the corners simply due to better suspension and lower center of gravity then the tc.

 

if i took 1000lbs out of my cobalt i bet i'd be just as fast as the lotus in a straight line

 

you go do that. and for you to take 1000lb's out of your car you wouldn't be going to far lol
