So for those of you who know me, and have seen my car on a number of occasions, you may be familiar with the awful scratching/gouging on my front passenger side. Well, as of today, that is all fixed. You would be hard pressed to tell it was ever there.
I won't post pics and pollute the thread as most of you will see it this summer anyways, but needless to say I am quite pleased. I would highly recommend MPS / Chippy's Auto Repair for any mild body damage. They did an absolutely stellar job.

Transmission had a mind of its own. It would shift down into second at anytime. Not fun when at highway speed. (He has the 6-speed twin clutch auto)
It would not start some days. Battery was fine, it would turn over, but no starting.
Plus the service from Mitsubishi was ****. They tried to "replicate" the problems but could not get the car to do it plus the car was not showing any codes, so they could not fix the car.
Needless to say he got sick of the "run-around" and traded in the car for a new GMC Sierra.

All it takes is one super hot trapped air bubble to spike your temps at wot, and no monitoring system, interceptor or otherwise, will see it.
Just my 2 Cents...
Off the topic - I need a drill bit that will drill the heads off a couple hundred Robertson screws. All of my bits dull out right away because of the square holes and the hardness of the screws. Not possible to do the job with any kind of grinder or saw. Any suggestions?
Can't be off topic, this thread is random
Titanium drill bits are the ****, we used them for drilling through truck frames. Keep the edge real well and last. Bit pricey though.
Check out someone like Bolt Supply, Century Sales, Gregg Distributors - any of the industrial supply outfits should be able to set you up.
Crappy Tire has some too but not too sure on the quality.

Switching gears again, spent the weekend out at Race City (bikes) and......THEY DID SOME PAVING!!!!
They did a little over a car width for maybe half of the quarter mile in each lane. Guess the funny car guys said no way to running on the track as it was.
Don't know if Secret Streets will go this week or if the funny car guys got the track to themselves but if it is running, might be your only chance to lay down some decent runs before it all goes away
Oh, and I predict an alcohol funny car on sticky slicks is going to shred it the first pass
Lolz, never even thought of them, too used to dealing with the wholesale guys

People are (very slightly) rating the sti better than the new evo, pretty much a tie. So who knows, it might come down to who's willing to give me the better deal.
Ok so I finally took a few pics of my car now that the springs have sagged down properly..
