Well that motor blew a bottom end bearing because it wasn't built right from a member I bought from on here. Was 700k from home when it happened. Soooo to get me moving I bought a complete stock short block from a local and dropped it in. Well about a month and a half later my meth injection failed and I blew a ring land in it..... Soooo I currently purchased a gen 3 motor from ZZP and put that in. But in the process am ditching the TVS and going turbo lol. It's been a crazy summer.

Well I had a run in with some older Toyota 2 door hatch that had a turbo. We ran from what I think was his 3rd gear and my 3rd gear at probably 60 km start. Stayed side by side until he shifted which is when I started pulling away even shifting into 4th I still pulled away. I had about 250lbs extra in my car so he had the advantage of being lighter I bet lol

It had square headlights so I don't quite know what it was. Could have been 70km/hr I was starting at as the speed limit there was 80 so I went from 4th to 3rd and then he started spooling so we went lol

I do have 99.9% of the parts. Just got looking into the engine work and I'm not sure I want to spend 6k on motor work. So I put it on hold and I'm going to look around.

Plus I've been having more fun in my truck this summer

I never said that a cobalt should never beat a 454 truck. Lol

At least 1000 lbs difference and the cobalt has just as much Hp as my truck did stock, truck only has the torque but that doesn't really help in a roll race lol

if you don't want to spend a ton on engine work, or a second 454, talk to Rod over at D&W;
he's a good guy, and has been doing his thing for decades.

wow was it windy last night/this morning!
hopefully everyone has their winter tires on by now!

on Edmonton Trail south of 32nd iirc;
Rod is the guy in charge;
he does goid work (as long as it's a domestic V8), but of late he has swollen his ego a little - bur as far a chevy stuff goes, he's a pretty safe bet.
