Hey guys, just moved here from Saskatchewan. Was wondering if anyone can direct me to a place in the city where I can get two new tires for my car at a reasonable price. My sidewall is damaged from a drill bit the went through my tread and into it.

Thanks

Bob @ Urban Expression is AWESOME to deal with.

He is the owner, and works out of the North location

iirc CalgaryBalt knows a great shop on the south end that can get great deals on tires;
but two days!?!
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...postcount=9207

I'd wager you have three options;
  1. borrow a tire, and order a pair* from Innovative autoworx (ect)
  2. buy a used tire off kijiji/craigslist (kijiji is more popular here)
  3. pay through the nose to get a tire that's in town

I have some loose/bald tires you can have, or one loose decent tire I could loan you if you decide on option #1...
(* = I say pair only because that's good practice)

fair enough.

I hope you got a decent price;
did you keep the "spare" just incase?

your spare is a 225, and you're not concerned about keeping it, I might be interested in it as another spare...

oh?

were yours new design or old design tread?

I don't need ant tires atm, but have been putting some research into it - and this one seems like a great candidate for a replacement tire...

I hear mixed reviews on this site for that tire - care to share your opinions/impression of those tires?

how was the road noise?
