rc was awsome last night, thx to everyone who showed up. as in typical rc style times were a lil slow but still a great night... staged cars seem to be running mid 14's, and non staged were running low 15's. wheel hop, and blowing the second gear shift was the story of the night. dude 411 where were you???? how come you didnt come over and visit??? khase it was great to meet you... as for my man jade!!!! you were a animal last night.... great to see you again... well jonathan and myself were the last to leave and we happened to meet a redline owner. if i remember correct his name was alex... hope to see him come around the forums. he was a real casual guy... as for the rest of you that was a blast we need to do that more often... btw for all those who chickened out!!!!! LOL hahahaha there is no excuses boys!!!!!! i went on a very questionable front strut problem and still raced. besides the best punishment for all who didnt show up was missing the fun we had.... next time pull up your skirts and race.

i was there. but the pants i thought i had brought turned out not to be pants... so i ran off to go buy some and couldnt find any. so then i just headed out to one of my friends places. i watched a couple races and talked to one guy before i ditched. but im for sure there next time u guys are there on a friday night

... last night me and kass got pulled over at like 12pm by a cop hiding on 32nd and he was like "roll up your window, wow thats pretty dark, you know thats illeagal right?" and I was like ya but, and then he looked at the car seat in the back and was like have a good night. LOL LMAO

and thanks for being hte first (to the best of my knowledge) to actually say here in a clear fashion that tint is illegal... some seem to miss this.
my brother had his cavalier reflashed (GM supercharger kit) at Jack Carter - they had never heard of another one in Calgary, but still didn't have a problem doing it.
I'll likely be going to Jack Carter for my GMS1 purely because it's close (and far service their department/management has seemed to take more pride in making sure their customer is happy... don't get me wrong; I know tech's at ****, and would never knock them - I'm just speaking from a customer side of things)
o i know mine are illegal lol just get lots of warnings lol so i am just going to have mark do me up some vinyl ones cause the nightshade is starting to look like ****
so whos balt was the yellow with the half painted carbon fiber hood and trunk??

Hey if you guys see a white 09 SS/TC that looks completely stock drive around calgary, let me or andrew (cobalt man) know. Trying to find the guy that kentwood ford sold the cobalt to while andrew was in the process of buying and had money down on. Havent seen it in edmonton yet, besides when it was at the dealership.
i think the story was something like the guy from fort mac was going to drive to edmonton to purchase a TC... apparently it seemed like it was a done deal. i mentioned there was a black one down here for sale and he was like no this one is in the bag for me... and well now this happens i guess lol

pretty much what thedude said. Andrew made a deal over the phone with Kentwood Ford for a 09 SS/TC for $15,000 and it has 20,000km on it. When andrew first told me about it he asked me to take a look at it, since i live down the road from the dealership. He paid $300 down deposit and told them it would be a week or two until he can get down here from fort mac cuz of work. They said no problem, i went to the dealership and checked it out, car looked nice, talked to the sales guy about it, told him it was my buddy that was buying it. He said he is lucky cuz they had about 5 people go through the application to finance it but either turned it down or didnt get approved.
I noticed the car missing about 5 days prior to andrew coming down, never thought anything of it..thought they put it away cuz it was sold to him. He called him up and told him he is on the way, they said "sounds good, cya here in a few hours, we will have the paper work for you to sign" Well the plan was i was going to meet up him at the dealership when he picked it up then we were going to go install HID's on it. He texted me saying he is there, when i got there they just told him that they made a mistake, it wasnt 20,000km on the car it was 78,000km and the bank wouldnt approve that. They also told him the story about people going through the process of trying to get it...so if that many people went through the process, wouldnt they have noticed it wasnt 20,000km on it? He called their bluff and so did I. They sold the car to a person while andrew had 300 down...he had to yell at like 3-4 people to get his money back...that issue was he paid with a credit card that was back in fort mac, they said it has to be that credit card. Thats bs, i tried to get a roushe mustang from them, put 500 down...didnt get approved they said u will get your cheque tomorrow....2 weeks later police were almost called cuz i went off at them cuz i went in about 9 times to get my money, all they said is "your cheque isnt ready, by the way, you are approved for a 2011 5.0 mustang" They ended up paying me the money on my debit card...which the money didnt come from in the first place.
Andrew was planning on getting a truck before the balt anyways so he asked me where i got my srt-10, i told him where and brought him to that dealership and to the sales guy i went through...few hours later he drove back to fort mac with a 09 ram 1500. id never go near that dealership with all the ads they would play on the radio. everything ive seen or heard about them back when i lived in edmonton made it sound like a sleezy dealership. all they are after is money at all costs

yup, then andrew first told me thats where the car is, i told him they were fucked up. I never had a issue with them until they said i couldnt get the roushe then held my 500 and kept asking me if i wanted a 2011 5.0 stang after i told them no. Then when me and andrew went back to get his money back, the guys i always talked to while i was there wouldnt even say hello to me once they seen me roll up with a dodge. It was like they didnt care about me cuz they knew i wasnt going to give them money. Oh well, im glad andrew went with the dodge for 2 reasons. He seems like a guy that would like a truck more then a cobalt (no offence to cobalt owners) and also i get a few hundred dollars for a referrel.
actually i think i might be thinking of team ford... which dealership has the ads that always are in competition with a dealership from toronto for 1st place in a sales competition???
Ok guys so as of today i have cleared up the racing issue with graham lol i smoked him from a roll yet again by about a car length lol and from a stop sign i started pulling at about 80 if i had only taken my car out of my low gear i would have pulled on him lol (im kinda dumb) now on to race city graham lol this way i will have a slip to prove it lol... i love healthly friendly competition ecspecially when i win lol see you friday
