Well aparently the balt is out of commision for a while, When I was installing my sub I guess I blew the wireing harness in the steering column

i still would like to know how you managed to do this. only way i can think of is you tapped into the power steering fuse slot for the remote wire for your amp. thats the only thing i can think of because if anything else were to go it would have been your bcm which would take out everything. personally unless wired it to the p/s circuit i think the dealer is bullshitting ya
that sucks man but what steve said they may be bull shiting ya but that is pretty sweet that they will cover the rental for you

1) the G8 GXP was never available to Canada
2) the car not only needs to be a full model year old to import, but cannot be imported if the build date is less than one year to the date (build date->date of import).
this link doesn't spell this out, but this link is good for checking out what vehicles are or are not able to be imported;
For a while the only GM you could not import was the 2004-2006 GTO, but now you can.
