by racing did you mean you were at secret street last friday?

I need to (re)weld up the exhaust* and get my Grand Am back out there...
(* = going to break the bank, buy a flex pipe, and redo the exhaust to hopefully quiet it down some)

I have a friend (former multiple time Cobalt SS owner; all LE5) who brought out his 3400 GAGT, and he told me all the good cars that showed up;
apparently somoene brought out an SS/TC, and couldn't run it for the life of him - iirc he said the guy ran mid to high fifteens!! x10,000

(I only laugh out loud because I'm assuming it was none of you - otherwise I'd be all in for helping show you have to run - to at the very least pull sub-15 second e/t's)

 

Lol that's funny about the tc guy. Those cars are not a 15 second car lol

 

i think my mom can get the car down the track in less then 15 sec. lol wonder if something was wrong. i know this for sure one thing remains to be true... AL FREAKIN BUNDY can definitely get it down the track in less then 15 secs!!!!hahahaha hey buddy how are ya!!!! lol

I for sure know the LSJ cars are more than capable of breaking 15 @ Race City, but the one time I lined up against one (iirc it was early 2008, and it was a black car), if I hadn't goobered up my 2-3 shift I would have had him...
How much of that was reaction I cannot say, but I guarantee my 60' killed his...
(I wasn't in habit of writing on my time slips whom I raced against back then.)

If I happen to accidentally bring my Cobalt to Race City this year, I have some almost bald winter rubber thanks to Nathan.
(in addition to some other bald tires that might be worth trying out)
