so you might also be keeping it?
any idea what your buy out is going to look like?
not that I really pay attention to leasing/financing, but shouldn't you buy out be at least a little below what it will be worht?
(I had understood this was done in hopes of an easy sale so that the party who leased it would decide to buy it rather than start financing another car)

I appreciate the suggestions. If anyone else has any let me know, but to the best of my knowledge the best way to go is if someone could buy the car. Worst case I give it back and part it out.
well if your looking for something bigger then i would just try and sell it until the last minute and if you can't sell it give it back and save up for something a little more buildable.

Ok, fair enough - I can always respect a person with clear priorities.
I actually got my line of credit, right when the credit crunch hit;
I went into my bank to see what I could do to build credit to eventually try to get a secure line of credit, and low & behold I was pre-approved for a healthy unsecure line of credit!!
Considering how few of these cars are around, you could make some kind of 'feeler' to see if you might be able to find a buyer, to leave the car as-is and pocket a couple bucks in the process...
last year I was watching the values of SS/SC's*, and how few were around here (as in listed across Canada), and if the state-side values had held through till spring I had planned on buying a blue SS/SC, driving it for a bit then flipping it up here in leau of further financing a SS/TC car...
* = last year I was seeing adds for nice ones for $8-9k, but when I started looking again in early spring, all the nice ones seemed to be more around $13-15k...
Then I found the price on my '09, and all bets were off.
