slicks (iirc) cannot be had for anything taller than a 15" rim;

from what I've read your car will be able to have 15" rims, but the outer top corner of the calipers will have to be shaved for clearance (depending on the rim chosen);

otherwise you're going to need to look for a drag radial.

Calgarians make the best of it as snow - yes, snow - clouds forecast - Yahoo! Canada News

Veridct appears to be in ~ this has officially been the worst summer in a decade!

I thank the Lord that I was able to spend some of it in Winnipeg/Portland/Los Angeles - because this weather we're dealing with right now is down right de-press-ing.

Hey does anyone know if the saturn ions 2.4l was the same as the cobalts 2.4l? I am thinking of stealing the throttle body and intake manifold off a wrecked Ion I found

same stuff.

These are actually starting to show up occasionally in the scrapyards;
There was an '08 G5-GT last year december-ish in pick in pull - iirc the back half of the car was cut off, and the front end had damage - but I could tell it was a GT because of the "VVT" valve cover.

Chirs/Graham are either of you interested in this?

cobalt ss gauge piller - Calgary Other Parts, Accessories For Sale - Kijiji Calgary Canada.

geeze-louise here's a cheap car;

http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ225391322

FYI: it's an '08 'Sport' that appears to have been badged as an 'SS'

wow... he more you look the better the deals are to be had;

http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ207386037

HEY! ~ it's my car's twin!!

http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...dIdZ224951029#

FYI: when I last checked there were 5 '09 Rally Yellow SS's built for Canada, four of the five had RPD/Highrise spoiler ~ I'd be curious to know how this one differs from my car (maybe it's non-LSD?!? ~ because I'm seeing the same radio & interior colour)

EDIT:

I'd like to hear from some of you guys...

would you see it as a selling feature, or would you be more hesitant to buy a Cobalt SS where the vin said it was an LS? (the pros would be that it would be cheaper to insure than a 100% legit SS)
