Calgary - random talk thread
Hey guys, i'm half new to the site, been a member for a little bit just never really made any posts, i'm looking to meet up with some Cobalt/G5 owners to see what they've done and get some ideas. Is there anywhere in Calgary that everyone meets?
outtamymind has lowered & tinted
kissrocker52 has added a highrise, sc wheels, and neons
jr motorsports has dual exhaust, and used to have a full vinyl body kit - but now only sports one-off stripes
I'm 100% stock... at the moment.
I've never met up with kasper - but if I'm correct, he's tuned...
I'm always game for meeting up ~ but not so much on saturday nights...
I really think a bunch of us should get together some time soon at a BP's...
oh, and since this is only your second post on this forum, welcome here! ~ you wouldn't happen to be 'JaysonsG5' from another site would you?

Yeah for sure, hey just to meet some other people with them is enough for me. I've got a ZX9 as well and we meet at Peter's jsut about every thursday depending on the weather. Something like that is fine with me
You could see the difference between the G5 cluster day and night too since you were curious about it

I don't really have many mods, just the GMPP intake, tinted tails, tinted windows, rims and tires. When I get around to it, i'm doing some Sportlines too. Don't know what to do from there
you're making me google what a ZX9 is...
Peter's is ok, but it's gotten pricey over the last several years - IMHO, they used to be a great deal, but now they're inexcusably overpriced ~ if i had to, I'd rather pay $5(+) for a shake made with no dyes or artificial colours thanks very much... right now my favorite is the shakes @ fatburger...
my big hang up with peters would be;
1) location
2) parking

no... I'm not tuned.. I am all stock at the moment. But I have the evo/kia whatever you wanna call it mod, very similar to it anyways. I also have a Hahn CAI to be installed and a TWM STS on the way. Would like to get a tune next... Just gotta save up the cash, Prob get the GMS1 first to upgrade the sensors and after a few years probably get the trifecta... I'd be game for meeting up, just would have to be late enough after work, Busy most days till 9, so 9 or later would work.

I know there's a Trifecta tuner in BC, I was going to go get a tune done but hate driving anywhere by myself, maybe if a few people want it done he can give a better price. Also i'm trying to find someone in Alberta that's a Trifecta tuner, anyone know if there is? And if there isn't how much it would be to get everything to do it, be a tuner I mean. I can use the parents company name and do it that way, then it'd be a tax write off too
Hi all
I have a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt. All my mods are at cardomain, new member on there also. I'm always up for meeting new people. Maybe get some new ideas to put into my balt. I'm in the process of painting my interior at this time. I heard about this site from a friend, so I decided to join up.
