I work early saturday morning, just figured good place to meet up, and i'm really curious how slow my car is. I'm kinda aiming for mid to low 16's.

Anybody have a suggestion when and where to meet ahead of time, then drive down to Race City?

man!!?!

Why you guys gotta be plannign RC visit's when I'm heading out of town!?!

I'm picking up THESE in Great Falls on Saturday morning;
If I didn't manage to get them re-routed I would have had to take time off of work to them pick up during the week - but I had them re-routed to one of the UPS stores which is open saturday, but only 10am-3pm (closed sunday) - which means if I don't want to chance screwing things up (and I am a screw up btw), I really need to at least be in Lethbridge on friday night.
PS - it's 5 hours to Great Falls from here - not including any border delays ~ and there always are.

I stocked up on Fruit Loops Marshmallow last time I went down... and picked up a bunch of USA-only pops ~ what should I get this time?

that should reduce back pressure some - but I am not familiar with the L61/LE5/LSJ exhausts - so I don't know how the factory exhaust is, or where the primary restriction is.

from what I saw, it looked to me that the primary restriction was the original manifold - I'd think you should see a small gain in performance... going to Race city will tell...

maybe other LE5 owners have posted (in the LE5 section of course), or can post attesting to any real gains from using this manifold over the stocker!?

if you do go please do your best to coax Mark & his wife (ok mostly his wife ) to go video you at the track...
also unless it's at least 12-15, odds are the track surface will be cold enough that you won't do any better than your august run... just saying.

there's always THIS - if the weather looks to be good I'm probably going to be there (drive up friday night, stay in a hotel, nad head back home saturday evening) - but if hte weather doesn't significantly improve, I'll just stay home & go to my nieces (2nd) birthday party (which I'd really like to attend anyway)....

The header will give you a bit of extra hp but until you deal with the cat your not gonna see any real gains.

really? - I'd doubt that - the stock manifold was absolutely tiny compared to this thing - not to mention that the stocker had on the #1 & #4 exhaust manifold ports something like 1" before they joined the #2 & #3 exhaust manifold ports... this one uses even length primaries, into a common collector...
IMO, it looks to be a piece that is incomparable to the stocker...

what brand is it Chris - let me look it up...

EDIT - Chris any catless pipe is probably going to require a reflash -just an FYI

hey - does someone want a set of the GM "all weather" mats?

soulfly said he wanted them we he saw me pull them out of hte box at hte show & shine we went to...

Chevrolet Cobalt Factory Floor Mats - Edmonton Other Parts, Accessories For Sale - Kijiji Edmonton Canada.

price: $65

add:
I have a brand new set of Chevy Cobalt Factory Floor Mats. These mats sell for over $130 at the dealership and are designed for all weather conditions. These are not one size fits all, they are designed exclusively to fit in a Cobalt. The trim on it is yellow. I had these originally in my Cobalt when I bought it but I didn't feel it matched my exterior very well.

They were never used in the car and are now sitting in my garage waiting for a new home.
they're in edmonton though...
