Calgary - random talk thread
I'm trying to remember who the guy was that met up with us this past march ~you know, the guy who was driving on drag radials, and who ended up grenading his transmission?
and I didn't discredit you... notice I actually didn't use names....
you wanna know something funny!?
I got him in contact with Nathan before he had even decided he was going ot sell the car outright;
I gave him first dibs on the car - purely because he needed a transmission;
He was given multiple chances to buy the car;
I only bought the car becasue he seemed to back out...
his was very sinister looking - and he had ALOT of work done to it...
iirc he was black, debadged, tinted like you, highrise, painted black(?) wheels, and honestly ran drag radials on the front of his car...
iirc the thing was also wake-the-dead nasty/loud....
but it has been several months since I saw it... so the impression it made on me might have exaggerated over time...
do any of you guys remember his car?
that was the time we parked in the back corner at the timmy's @ deerfoot meadows (every other time we parked out front)...
I kinda miss the get together BS sessions...
don't miss freezing...
but if it's a sign, it's getting cold again!?!
welcome all new members, if you dont know me coz nobody wants to talk about this ass clown lol... hey mark the ignore button only works if you choose to use it...btw i will be messaging you soon for a tune job buddy... my time is finally coming.... from my understanding if i go catless tune is a must. i will give you as much notice as i can... is anyone going to rc tomorow? pls post up if you are.
the new hi flo cats wont slow you down any on a stock motor.
using both 02 sensors aids in tuning and fuel trims. in other words,
your mileage will suffer....not that a balt gets mileage.!!!!
that is, unless you run my low octane neutered winter tune, but theres no fun in that.

I'll try to reply back to everyone this way. No it doesn't come painted I'll probably end up painting the kit myself like I did to my interior. I also taught its as easy as bolt on kit, no you have to drill holes and line it up yourself. Plus I heard two other people had a hard time fitting the back bumper and had to literally cut it in half and mold it in to the factory bumper.
I got a quote from one shop for install and paint. And I couldn't believe how much he was asking for. So thats why I guess I'll end up painting it with spray paint. That's why I was asking if anyone can help me install it, who has experience with body kits.
Yah thanks for the offer, the one shop said the same thing. Test fit it before you paint. Also I guess I do need to drive my car during winter. Especially its almost October, I think I'll wait until spring to install the body kit. Sorry I still don't know anyone here names. But I will stop by at barlow @ timmy's Saturday night to see how many cobalts are there. I only been there once a couple of months ago. Also I did all my mods on my car this year so it kept me really busy this summer. Car mods kind of gets very addicting once you get started, always want something new and done to my ride...cheers
