sorry, but that's a BIG fail for CSS.net

LINK for pic

EDIT:

I dunno what happened there, when I first posted it, it looked ok, then I came back, saw them censored, typed it above, and it didn't get censored; so I edited the initial post, deleted and retyped a single letter from each censored word...

now they all appear ok!??!?

"fixed"

maybe I missed something - I understood from your posts that a 2 gauge pillar was being added, but that's all I read.

Are you not still under warranty? Unless you beat the hell out of it, it should be covered, and even still, our dp's are all under a recall.....

I have the stock antenna, I may have misunderstood you before. Is your stock antenna base a different size than previous years? If so, and if your shorty will fit the base on my car you can have it if/when I get it shaved off

this would be to make the SS/SC wheels clear our huge calipers.

I bought a set of BFG Drag Radials (the ones Bluecobalt99 wants to borrow) that came mounted on SS/SC rims;
HERE
(or THIS related post)

I test fitted a set of SC rims about a month after buying my car under the premise of having a second set for winter duty, to find that it's so close it's not even funny;
I'd wager that 3mm would do it, but it's probably better to go with 5mm or even 2x3mm just because.
FYI: The other 17" delta platform rims that clear our calipers - I needed to do a the old piece of paper trick to verify that there was clearance between the back of the rim and the front of the caliper... it's just that close.
I since have acquired a full second set of SS/TC rims for winter duty (one of which I just got back after having it repaired/straightened/repainted a couple days ago).

Ya i've seen them also for looks and supposedly helps with handling, being a little wider that is... seen them done and brings the wheel out a tiny bit more to the edge of the car... Looks pretty good, from pics i've seen

I didn't even see those - thanks for the link - those look to be a sweet deal of a price!

I was just figuring if you're getting a DR, why not at least have something in the 235 width size...

Spacers should only be used with the minimum amount and should be a last resort. They can cause more problems then they fix

Oh okay, I thought you already had the shorty but was the one that screwed onto the 6mm, and I was saying if you wanted mine, because that's the size I think mine is, that you could have it when I get around to getting it shaved off, then you just need to swap the 6mm one I have with the 7mm one you have and install the shorty that you had. Alright then, sorry I couldn't help

na think it is there is a good sized crack in it... not 100% sure... i never got air, i actually think it was from the rough roads. i can only remember me scrapping the muffler once. maybe if anything i may have got a piece of debris once and hit me in the exhaust piping, ie a piece of 2x4. we all know how bad the deerfoot can be sometimes. however as far as warranty is concerned. when i brought my papers into **** they said and i quote" i wasnt covered under the recall... even when they pulled my vin up same thing... so either they are bs me or i am not covered. my car was one of the last sc's off the assemblely line... lol it dont matter anyway i would rather just go get a better dp, warrenty or not... it isnt like they are expensive anyway. besides gives me the perfect excuse to get the wide band too!!! AND GET TUNED!!!!

afaik; no one will be at the timmy's on friday evening; that's a Saturday deal.

The plan right now is to meet at Race City, watch some racing, and maybe go to BP's afterwards.
