man car ran pretty sweet today officially ran a 16.23 pretty good improvement for just a header and it was great to meet a bunch of you new guys looking foreward to helping/seeing all your new ideas for your cars
Wow!!
what an awesome turn out tonight!
even if not everyone was able to meet up or hang out as a group, it was great to see you all.
iirc the following people made it out with their cars;
kissrocker (ran his best this year!)
supermanbalt (didn't run)
Stryder Dawg (ran; first time)
outtamymind (ran; first time this year)
tom.g (ran; first time ever; beat my own personal best from the year)
calgarybalt (didn't run, but tried taunting everyone willing to listen to race!
)
jrmotosports 88 (didn't run)
me (didn't expect to run good, and the night lived up to my own expectations
)
I think this was by far the best single night turn out of CSS.net members!!
**If you are willing, please post up your best timeslips HERE**;
For the last couple years Albertians posting on CSS.net have either stopped going to the track, or stopped posting up their times - I was hoping that we could get alot more people posting up times this year (impressive or not).
Seven of us (including significant others) ended up wrapping things up early and going to BP's to haras$ the staff...
(oh wait, that was just Graham
)
In all, it was a great night, even if I'm feeling poorer because of it.
and for anyone who cares;
Cobalt SS/TC + 5mm spacer + SS/SC rims = ample clearance over Brembos

yes, but I was trying different launching RPM's and bogging, or going back to using the launch control and still being 1/10th off on my 60' ~ I went pretty much because I could run the DR's, and because I am thinking that last night was probably the last SS for the year...
next weeks forecast puts the high at something like +7

It was nice to meet you all met a bunch of good guys on here.
Kris - I will give you a shout to help me test fit my body kit. But I think I'm going to wait until next spring to install it. Also I was looking back @ some old emails a couple of months ago. So it was you that suggested to go on this site. I should have listen to you and not ignore the email. Looking back now, seeing the parts thread and forums on here. I should have went on this site sooner.
Graham - Let me know how the retro project is working out, I'll take the halos from you.
Mark - Thanks for your advice man, we are practically neighbours lol
Jon - It was a good turn out, thanks for being the host and making it all happen.
from: Jesse aka "supermanbalt". I think I'm going to change my name to "shobalt" or "slobalt" or "smurfbalt" lol.

copy-cat...lol. jk, post some pictures of the truck
What turbo are you running again??
your use of superman badges makes it easy to identify your car with your username...
besides smurfs are much lighter, non-mettalic - so your paint colour is all wrong...

(maybe this should encapulate me!?)
got a question for you calgary folks. Is there any race tracks (road course) in calgary or anywheres else in alberta beside Stratotech in Fort Sask. I wanna race my truck on the track but stratotech is to small and wont allow a 5700lb truck...lol. I wanna know if there is a track that will allow it, depending if there is or isnt will depend how i mod my truck within the next few years.
