Nice man, before and after pics. Make sure you sand them and remove the shitty old paint where it's peeling (if yours is).

Nope, no clearcoat, no primer, no nothing (It says not to prep at all, I still sanded). I was just looking for something easy, and so far this has worked.

I tried rubbing it off and couldnt, no tests cause my clutch is getting installed as we speak (hopefully, was still sitting in the snow last I saw ) so I'm not sure how it hold up to my elbow while driving yet though.

Also, I cleaned the shiz out of it with dish soap because I've used cleaner on mine before.

I got an OEM one from Spaz, but stressed myself out worrying and ended up just getting a GMPP LSJ Upgrade one. So the GMPP one along with an LNF TOB is going into her.

Also, I just saw you posted that the rims you wanted were discontinued. That sucks the big one man, any other plans for rims?

Random question. Was the box for gmpp upgraded clutch yellow and is the brand actually like Lux or something?

No plans for wheels anymore. The newer version of the wheels I wanted are like 3400. No way I'm spending that kind of money on a cobalt lol.

Yeesh, thats pricey man.

And no it wasn't it was a different pressure plate and clutch disk and a throw out bearing shipped in a regular shipping box in seperate bags kinda deal. Wasn't in a "GMPP Upgrade" box or anything.

Says SAAB on it too, not lux (Got it from Crateenginedepot.com so I imagine it's legit, it looks different then the stock one too).

Damn that means I have the stock one in mine again. I was a broke student when I destroyed my clutch so my dad had to pay for it. I got no say in which clutch or where it got replaced since he was pissed off at me... I had to limp my car to his friends shop in Edmonton and he actually charged us more for labour than my quote from lethbridge. Plus said he put in the best one he could get from his distributor but I guess that meant **** all. I could have got the act clutch for the price he charged us for the oem one too lol. Fml

If u want anything done right, do it urself lol.

QFT, I wish I had space/time to do the install myself too.

That sucks a lot man, but what do you do I guess. From what everyone's said the stock one should hold up perfectly fine anyways, mine was just opening up anyways so I figured I'd throw it in.

i always do all my own installs. except for my lowering, my brother did my lowering and alignment. everything else on my car is done by me. that way i can't get mad at anyone for screwing up and i know how its been done.

and it doesn't help that i'm extremely picky on who works on my car.

Word. This is the first time someone else has worked on my car (Besides recall). I'm just turning a blind eye to it till I get it back .

they are pretty relaxed about it. unless the modification is directly related to the problem they usually won't say anything about it. also depends on how you treat them. be pissy and angry and they won't honor it the warranty lol.

and Jon just thought i would through this out there, the managers that were there when you had your "disagreement" are no longer there. its 2 new managers in there.

I didn't have a disagreement with a dealer. I just paid the bill and went and curled up in the fetal position and cried when I got home! lol
