Your right, you should have told him I'd sell mine to him for $15K so I could get a TC!

Poor guy . That's what you get for the stealership I guess though. At least it'll be Certified Pre-owned.

Haha thats exactly what I was thinking. The guy has probably seen us driving around and is willing to pay premium to be able to join our cobalt group haha.

It really shouldn't be hard for me to land a job in lethbridge since I'm looking for a bank job. And it's sadly getting to the point where I'm thinking I'll take a tellers job and then just work my way up to a decent job. Only since I starting to run out of money right and im bored as **** being unemployed now

My car is completely 100% stock. Still deciding if I'm going SC or turbo. Really no advantage to going SC, but I haven't ruled it out. Just love the sound, and I wanted an SC car all along. And I'm really not looking to make much more than 240-250 whp.

SC Route is really cheap, and the whine of a supercharger is the shiz.

What are you guys doing this weekend? I just got back from the border. Hopefully low key this weekend.

Racing go karts at speeders tomorrow. Apparently they have 70km/h karts so it should be a good time.

Should be, if you piece together a kit. IIRC they're both start at around $2k from ZZP.

If you want to troubleshoot a SC (Pretty sure one of the bearings in her are shot) I've got one you can have real cheap. Dealers ftl.

I went to 5 Star Auto Glass on McLeod. Have any of you went there? They're service was decent I guess, though I thought they'd be able to do more with the chip.
So yeah... The epic rock chip in question is not spreading after 24 hours. And I've spotted 2 more that I would normally want to take care of. But since my first one is a monster and is spreading already... I'll just wait and see where the crack spreads to, and how fast. Then I'll replace the whole thing--in the spring.

My warranty runs out this fall and I get the feeling I'll have one more major thing go wrong (airbags in '09, new trans last year) so I don't want to void it yet. Next summer I'll boost.

My new F23 has been lovely, though. Thanks, GM!

warranty replaced my cat when it went bad... then it got recalled shortly after... warranty has been a waste for me. i was supposed to have the extended warranty on my car as well. but apparently the old owner didnt sign it over to me so... and just before i learned that, the dealership i bought my crapbalt off of shut down when GM downsized dealerships... so if i have a problem im either fucked or going to be in 1 hell of a fight with the GM corporate office...

compared to what I'm dealing with right now, a cat is going to be small fries....

besides, from what I've come to understand, not too many people have a factory backed warranty four (calender) years after your car's model year...

Im happy to hear that the warranty does help some people, unfortunately im not one of them.

last winter I cracked one of the plastic end pieces on the stock IC and not only did the warranty not cover the repair/replacement, the dealership made me pay for the rental bill once they finally figured out what was wrong (3 weeks later). And then to top it all off, they wanted to charge me $1300-1500 for them to replace the IC...
I ended up going with ZZP and doing it myself...

warranty FTL
