A vacuum cleaner? Lmao. That's as good as the "why are you holding your horn!" .

Sometimes its fun to cause a scene too .

Anyone else go see fireworks last night?

they are pretty deep. i went 400, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000. i started with 220 to get the grime off. i think the scratches are from the 220.

Acey lives in lethbridge not Calgary. There used to be 2 of us yellow guys down there. Now there are none...

I've seen like 4 other sc's in sylvan lake. All women driven other than my car. All the cobalts that guys drive in my town are 2.2s with ugly ricey chromed wheels and fart cans. Then there is my wanna be SUV cobalt covered in bugs and mud complete with roofrack and kayak holder

Call the 1 800 number for your old company. Have them fax the info for your newly insured vehicle to whoever you are buying the car from.

So.... Whatcha buy

All my company has is a emergency claims number. Its a private sale. I'm getting a 97' talon tsi awd for nice and cheap. Time for school.

John - you here/reading this?

I'd be interested in the rear most section (muffler/tip/+length infront of muffler) if hte tip is still present, and not too goobered up...

When I rolled back into town last night I saw some real meat heads...

What's with this Canadian patriotism I'm seeing down there?? ~ I'm thinking it can only be a spin off of;
"no work today, lets get hammered and make buffoons of ourselves"

yes, no, maybe??

When I was coming through the boarder last night I think I dealt with the coolest boarder guard (or whatever they're called) ever - I told him I had roughly $300 in stuff, and he didn't require me pay an tax!

Last night after my grandfather took out his hearing aid, the fireworks were so loud that he thought the noise was thunder - it sounded to me like some kids lit off fireworks on the green strip in front of their house...

As far as I've been made aware - as long as you're not putting a plate from a currently owned bvehicle, there is a grace period in which you can run your old plate on the newly purchased car - but it's a VERY small window... a week or so...

I've done it before... not saying there's zero chance of getting into trouble, but I've done it... (knock on wood)

What's that quiet buzzing and dripping sound LSJ's make once you turn the key to Acc? Nothing's leaking or anything, but I didn't hear that on my LE5 so I assume it's heat exchanger related, or is something wrong?

Congrats on the car, Joel.

Congrats on the car, Joel.
it's probably the same as the LNF cars;
the fuel pump is powering up, and pressurizing the system.

Wow;

Got another email from an SS/SC owner about getting tuned - again, not from CSS ~ just from ym kijiji ad!

I'm surprised that Vince does not advertise the 'Stage 3' ~ and IMHO I do not understand why anyone would go with anything aside from a Trifecta-Stage3 tune... it seems like ZZP sells alot of ECM's...
if I had an LSJ, I'd be all over the Trifecta-stage3 like-stink-on-a-skunk...

I'd prefer the user set rev limiter over the new launch control feature though (and it reads as though the launch control isn't officially available via Trifecta yet)...

...just saying... because it was on my mind

3rd gens look nice with the Evo mod. I'll overlay the badges and plasti-dip the wheels for a nice orange-black theme.

Anyone see a 2010 victory red cobalt ss cursing around? Was in Calgary all weekend. Mostly the north west area! I saw a custom skyline, that was about it. Never saw a single other cobalt ss..

if you're asking if I saw you - nope - I don't venture up that way too much... but odds are you'ld see me before I saw you

if you're heading oh say south-central, I'm across the river from the auto mall

maybe some of the local guys would be up for a last minute meet tomorrow?
if you're on FB look up 'GM Tuners of Calgary' - and send me (jonathan) a message to say whom you are - I have tried to keep the group to only Calgarians...

basically if the tip is ok, then cut off infront of the muffler at least 6" and the whole rear chunk (incl pipe/muffler and tip) would interest me...
