good

(for entirely selfish reasons )

I'm feeling like an idiot at this time... I just checked my messages... my house guest is on the 22nd... not 19th...

oh well...

the spare bedroom is done up a couple days in advance then

EDIT:

(Coaldale) Farmer Sausage + Mashed Potatoes + Veggies (normally peas) = Jonathan's favorite supper

having to take a breather here in the midst of round two...

I dunno why I don't make myself a real supper more often...
I mean by *cheating* and doing the instant potatoes the prep time is wayyy down... and it's soooo good

lol...

well after last night i have a new appreciation for a AFR gauge...

I think getting one is going to be the key to tuning the noisy car...
I pretty much did some cheating and guesswork for the tune I'm running in it right now...

now I just gotta see if I can find one at a good price...
I mean it's not like I want a permanent install or anything... just in there long enough to fix the tune I'm running...

Mine? It's still at my parents. I'll get it this time when I'm home. You only wanted the tip and the pipe section right? Not the muffler?

it's probably easier to just grab the muffler and a small length of pipe before it...

Check out Atco trailers. It's not the most glamourus job but it's unionized (if you like that sort of thing haha) and starts at $21 I beleive. I'm a framer in Lethbridge and we have a guy who came here who used to work there. He really liked it. 7 - 3:30 work.

but it's all still there right?

I don't think I ever indicated that I just wanted the tip... not to mention it would probably be a PITA to cut off the tip where it was still useable...

...

So I did a mini-road trip today...

I think if we do another cruise we should go to Drumheller....

that or all show up for some cruise in & Show 'n Shine...

I picked up an old four speed transmission out of a camaro (including all the other parts)

now I just need to make a final decision;
do I turn the P350/TH350 Firebird into a P350/T-10 car?

I over plan things...

And this is just the start of my planning and took 2 minutes, still have budget, gas costs, lunch stop, breakfest stop, dinner stop.

Ya the whole thing is there. I thought you wanted the tip and the pipe section it was attached to before the muffler. Either way I'll get it for you

weird... your plan shows virtually the same KM's, but over an hour longer time...

Had a run in with an off duty cop at a kfc up north. He threatened to give me and my cousin tickets for public nuisance for my cousin saying **** and I said it right to his face when he was yelling at us. Douchebag.

Worked 12 1/2 hours of OT today

the only thing worse than a cop (and they all seem to have a major chip on their shoulders these days) - is an off duty cop who's gotta wave their dick around...

hate 'em...

I had a run in with one several years ago when I was dropping my brother off at school... the DB threatened to get my license pulled...

I think I told him something along the lines of "F.O. ... sir"

then drove away.

cool.
He must have used Google Maps. They really give you some headroom on your arrival time haha. From my house to Calgary it states just under 3 hours. As if!

hmm... they must factor in a percentage of "down" time then...

my co worker told me that it's eleven hours fro m the vancouver area to here on friday ~ so that would confirm the mapquest link...

Factors in an hour of pissing at a gas station .

Yea, I've found mapquest to be more accurate as far as ETA's go. I'd like to see how Google actually calculates it.

I'd talk to an off duty cop like I would anyone else. If he was a huge douche I would be one right back without the sir because off duty they are just normal people.

exactly, but most people are afraid to say anything to a cop on duty or off duty. so of course they're gonna power trip. same as why they purposefully do 10 under the speed limit, its because they can and they do it to screw with people.
