Haha ya true, but they got no highway ***** :P I raced one on the track and he put about 6 or 7 cars on me in the first 200' or so, but I caught up to him by the end of the track. He trapped 105, I trap 112ish everytime on **** tires, on Swd(shitty wheel drive)
I like pulling like a **** on the highway, it's kind of an addiction.

I have thrown it out to the locals, and only received a luke warm response...
so (and this is not a knock to the great locals - I just love going to the track) even if this is an unofficial thing, I'd really be interested...

Never raced at castrol ~ and only heard good things about it.

I'd be that much more for it, if someone had say a couch I could crash on...
I'd happily return the favor if you head down this way.

I didn't go to the track even once last year... really itching to go again.

Yeah.. worn summer tires.. maybe 50% tread. 60's were pretty consistent 2.3xxx
I'll hafta look at the slips later. Didn't matter what I did.. 1st gear is pretty much just get it goin a bit before I hit the throttle in 2nd gear. Wish I had access to a set of sticky radials or slicks

I'd let ya crash on my couch, but I'm sure the woman would have a bird. I'd still consider it though, if it were on a weekend that I could have off to go down there again n race. I work every Friday/Saturday out of town, so the past 2 times I've gone, I've booked it off with either banked time, or vacation time. Might be able to pull off one more before summer hits full swing, Idk though tbh.

was it a evox and if so, what color was his car? Running 12's is usally a intake, uicp, tbe. That being said, you need to find traction if you are running a 112 trap, thats mid/low 12's easy.

If I didn't just buy a house I'd be all over that.

I'm planning on hitting up Castrol this Friday, doing a run or two...in the Kia, LMAO. Hoping for high 14s, also a LOL.

Kinda miss the Cobalt's power, but still much happier with the new car. Next year I plan on getting a late model LT1 or LT4 C4 6 speed, should be fun times again

I have a cold air intake sitting in my storage room if you were interested. I opted for a K&N SRI instead and couldn't send the CAI back.
