I admit it, I am partially to blame.

I have been pretty quiet here for some time.

I have occasionally popped in to help out if a thread I was subscribed to was bumped, and on occasion I'd look something up... but I've been pretty well occupied on my own for some time.

I came back here today looking for some information on fixing an LNF sedan I have, or about buying a used badge... but I'm going to just leave it at this thread for now.

If you see this, and you're in Alberta (or somewhere close; I'm in Calgary) speak up!!

Good to see you are still live. I log on every month or so just to see the new posts. Used to be a great site.

Oh yeah, not going anywhere any time soon.
my updated signature should show that I am absolutely a lifer
I am not terribly well to do, but I have now owned (in one way or another) three different '09 SS's.

Still in Saskatoon, still have the Redline. Finally bought slicks for it 2 years ago. Got a single pass in before timing system broke at track. Ran a 12.4 @ 121. Did some more work to car last year but never made it to track since we had a baby and that takes precedence over dingus car racing. Hope to get out to strip again this year and hopefully get a few good passes in.

Funny thing is the local Calgary club more or less spawned the Edmonton club;
The scene here died - but last I heard the scene in Edmonton was still going strong.

I haven't heard from (or to be honest really looked into) the Winnipeg club - I used to meet up with them about once a year as my dad and his whole side of the family are there, but to keep it simple, visits with my dad aren't happening anymore

I stumbled across two(!!) LSJ cars in a local self serve wreckers this past weekend - one of them even had two wheels on it;
I now have a set of four tint coat LSJ wheels - and am thinking of taking the sedan's "stealth mode" to the next level... unfortunately I think I gave away my 3mm wheel spacers, so I need to get another set.

There's still a few guys around Saskatoon playing with these cars, not really a scene but we chat every so often. I recently saw there is a guy in Calgary that swapped a FWD LSv8 into a Redline, that would be wild to see in person.
I used to chat with the Winnipeg guys, met up with some of them a few times. Think all those guys have moved on though.
Basically for the past 5 years though my car has only left my garage to get tuned or race. Still working on and improving it just never really take it out since the current car culture is trash clout chasers, been a lot of vandalism, property damage etc so cops are cracking down on tuner cars hard. Car is just barely over 100k at this point.

I wish my car as that low mileage!
My Cobalt is, and always has been my daily driver;
Until this virus nonsense started, I was driving to High River (just over 100km day round trip) for the last nine years - so I am well beyond 300k km's.

My signature should shows how likely I am to move on.

Did you ever see this video of me and one of the Winnipeg guys (I had zero bolt ons, just a tune at the time)... I found the thread, but it looks like the video link is dead - I just reached out to Dustin to see if I could get the video, to upload to my youtube account.

I bought my car new in 2006 but it has never been daily. My 2018 GMC sierra has 180K already.
My wife constantly hassles me about getting rid of "that red car I drive 3 times a year" but it will never happen LOL. I have 11 motorcycles so I need to hold the line because if I sell one thing she'll want me to sell everything.
I met with Dustin and the crew in Winnipeg way back, maybe ten years ago now. John Powell once was out in Saskatoon and checked my car out which was cool. Still chat with him on Facebook.
All the Videos I posted here are dead now, just like the rest of this forum.

Hey!!
Did you get your Pursuit(?) back?
Does your brother still have his silver SS coupe(?)?

Kris had a black sedan after leaving this scene, and when I learned of it, I asked that he keep me in mind if he should decide to sell... (see sig)

lol

I'm a lifer!
