"i put 35,000 into it" I just added up everything i've orderd in the last 4 months which is almost the same as him and it only came to $10,000. On top of that if he spent 35k and only got 370whp, somethings wrong there.

"you wont find a faster evo or awd car on the east coast" i know at least 3 guys making 400+whp.

lol at 370hp as fastest on the east coast... i can set him up with some street cars from NYC if he'd like to put a wager on it lol.

 

Since i had nothing to do today, i went on the vendors sites and added up every part he orderd. Most of the parts can be orderd from MAPerformance. Few parts i couldnt find so i gave him the benifit of the doubt and went for the most expensive part. For example, i couldnt find his type exhaust so i figured it to be around $900. Also rounded up everything. All that came to just about $13,000. So that leaves $22,000 in labour since he got mostly everything installed by the dealership.

$13,000 in parts and he only made 370whp. I spent a total of $10,000 in the last 4 months and that includes my handling parts and headlights and ill defently be 400+whp in about a month.

Like i said, dude is on crack if he thinks he is getting 63,000 for the car. iiunno about you guys but i would perfer a stock car over a car with mods.

 

why on earth would someone pay more for the car used than they would new? Especially when the car is only a few years old, and still in production.

 

Ill import me a FQ series rather than pay that =S

Cant say I really know him but he showed up at AMP once. He cant drive the car around the track, but in the instructors hands it was damn fast.

I would get a C6 Z06 instead

Doesn't look too too bad. Obviously I'm quick to call rice. So the little wings and stuff are a little overboard. Personally I'd keep the car how it is without the huge spoiler and 3M tape mini wings.

I got a whole new trunk for my civic so it didn't have a spoiler on it, and the trim was one that only came with spoiler by default. Honda guys notice the delete. It looked clean, most cars look nice without spoilers.

 

Pretty much getting the same reaction on the evo forums. It's one thing to put that kinda of money into your car and not be able to race. But then to say you put 35k into it, when in fact its only like 13k and try to sell the car for more then what is worth brand new...thats something else. I dont really care about the looks of the car, not my my style but whatever. Its his asking price and claims that blows my mind.
