Lower Mainland/Island Meet March 8th, 2008
Military ID is AOK!!!
Beginning today (01/31/2008), people wishing to enter the United States from Canada will no longer be allowed to do so simply by declaring that they are American or Canadian citizens and then showing a drivers license to back it up. Though passports and visas will still not be required for such travelers, under a new regulation, people who dont have their passports with them will now have to show a second piece of government-issued ID like a birth certificate or naturalization certificate to prove their citizenship. Birth certificates will be needed for children without passports, too.

Or maybe a cruise up over hwy 20? Hmm...
well, just booked the hotel in Langley. If anyone else is interested, I booked through hotels.ca for the Super8. Seems to be a nice looking hotel... and who cares for 1 night and 90$ after taxes :P as long as theres a bed, bathroom, place to park and no bed bugs, that's all that matters.
