Military ID is AOK!!!

Beginning today (01/31/2008), people wishing to enter the United States from Canada will no longer be allowed to do so simply by declaring that they are American or Canadian citizens and then showing a driver’s license to back it up. Though passports and visas will still not be required for such travelers, under a new regulation, people who don’t have their passports with them will now have to show a second piece of government-issued ID — like a birth certificate or naturalization certificate — to prove their citizenship. Birth certificates will be needed for children without passports, too.

hopefully the lowering springs get here early next week, and maybe I can get them on before the meet!

I don't want to be a 4x4 anymore!

So i have a question for the locals...we need a local hotel there that we can all stay at...cause we will be there drinking. It needs to be close to a few bars and cheaper is better haha. I found this one:
http://travela.priceline.com/hotel/r...22906&plf=PCLH
and it looks nice...buuuut you need to be 21 to make reservations..soooooo, we need to get together and see who is staying and reserve a bunch of rooms and just pay the person...

I'm up for NORTHWEST US meet if anyone down there wants to plan it??

As long as its not too far down there.. just across the border is cool.. should do that in the near future, wouldn't mind doing some shopping :-P

Well if we do a BIG meet down here, it would likely be in the seattle area as most members are within 20 miles north and south of seattle.

Or maybe a cruise up over hwy 20? Hmm...

well, just booked the hotel in Langley. If anyone else is interested, I booked through hotels.ca for the Super8. Seems to be a nice looking hotel... and who cares for 1 night and 90$ after taxes :P as long as theres a bed, bathroom, place to park and no bed bugs, that's all that matters.
