Not only does it have a SS/SC upper grille, and incorrectly installed SS/TC lower grille, but it also has 2005-2006 headlight housings (note the amber turn signal inserts). 2007-2010 had chrome inserts w/ amber bulbs.

I would def get the car checked out. Looks like the front was in a fender bender.

 

Your suspicions are correct.

Simple google search of the vin lets you know it's been sold at a salvage auction:

airbags have been deployed. Funny that the listing says "Accidents: none"
