You have my attention now.
I'll get back to you on Sunday or so. I'm going home (to my parents') tomorrow. This is in the realm of my, and my parents' buying power. Any pics? 1/4mile times?
How is the motor and the blower holding up to the 2.5 pulley? I have heard that it whines out the blower and strains the motor a lot more than a 2.7 or 2.8". Have you had any problems with the 2.5? And would you still include the bigger pulley?

Mechanically everything is very sound. I have zero problems with the car, its been a blessing especially reading some of these nightmare stories. I believe I have a 2.6" pulley laying around but thats it. Otherwise you could buy one from intense as they are pretty inexpensive and easy to install on the modular hub. Honeslty I wouldn't worry about it but to each his own. Pics can be seen in the auto trader link that I posted in the first post.
If you or your parents have any questions I can be reached at 734-446-5906, ask for John.
Thanks.

Aight, thx for the info man! What would you want to settle on with my car? Would you want it or are you looking for something with less miles? less mods? I just posted a ton of pics in the Members Pics forum.
How many miles are on the car? What model exactly is it (ls sport, ls, plain)? Is it power everything on the inside? Moonroof, sunroof? Cruise control? Stick or Auto? Those types of things are what give it more value to a bank. Remember that it is nearly impossible to get any real money back out of mods for the most part. Let me know the mileage and I will see what my bank appraises it for. Otherwise any extra they would give me is already going towards paying off what I owe above what I'm selling it for. Not to mention anything I've done your getting for free. Let me know I'm sure we can work something out if you are in route for a newer vehicle.
How is the car mechanically? Engine run good, small lifter ticks? Any bad struts? Hows the exhaust? Tires in good shape? A/C blow cold? Burn any oil? Anything newer on the car, alternator, waterpump...? Hows the trans holding up? Have you done any performance modifications? If so, what?
Thanks, keep in touch. You can get me faster by phone or by emailing me at jahorgos@gmail.com

It is a 1999 Cavy 4dr 2.2 auto base model with power locks. It was repainted the stock color in April '06. The stock bumpers were also painted. The body shop ground off all the rust on the rocker panels, but there still is a little bit on the underside of the doors on the drivers door. I have all the stock parts, headlights, tails, bumpers. I can put all the stock body parts on, I have to do that soon anyways, winter is getting close, same with the stock rims/snow tires.
It has about 137k miles. I bought it from my grandmother at 60k miles, I don't think the motor saw 3000 rpms while she drove it. The engine has never had a problem, oil changed every 3k miles with Sea Foam carbon cleaner used every time. The alternator died about 2 months ago, and I replaced it with a Duralast HO alt. The only things that are "wrong" are the gas gauge sending unit is short out, and the rear O2 sensor needs to be replaced.
How is the car mechanically? - Very solid, amazed with the condition and relability
Engine run good, small lifter ticks? - Never made any noises. The engine has held up very well.
Any bad struts? - Koni Red adjustables, installed at 75k miles. Never had any leaks, struts are still strong.
Hows the exhaust? - Very solid, installed about 15 months ago, was undercoated for winter salts along with the rest of the undercarriage.
Tires in good shape? - Brand new Winterforce MS tires, used for 1 season, ZERO tread wear, on the 15" steelies. 17" Konig Verdicts with Bridgestone Fuzion ZRi's, 2 tires are brand new, about 2k miles, 2 from last summer, about 20k miles.
A/C blow cold? - Recharged last summer, very cold, heater works great.
Burn any oil? - 4.5 quarts in, exactly 4.5 quarts out.
Anything newer on the car, alternator, waterpump...? - New TPS sensor, K&N filter, and Alternator, new PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads, not even 10k on those. Nothing else has worn out, broken. Both recalls have been done, both concerning the starter motor and distributor block, I believe.
Hows the trans holding up? - Done 2 tranny flushes, shift kit will make this trans run forever. The synchos are still in great shape, this was the best 4T40E trans the guy has ever seen.
Have you done any performance modifications? - I kept the mods somewhat to the visual side. Intake w/ K&N intake, Pace Setter 4-1 header, 2.25" piping, Magnaflow cat, 26" resonator, Magnaflow muffler. It is very quiet when cruising, loud when you're on the gas. With 89 octane, I get between 28-32 mpg.
I hope that cleared things up! Let me know if you need pics of anything besides what was posted in the MR forum.
