Yeah but this guy laloosh seems to be getting faster by the minute. Before when he was traping 100 i was like "Eh" but now he's traping 106 i'm like "............." I got 105-107 traps in me but damn this guys not making it easy on me any more..........

Nah I Just feel bad because I was talking **** to this kid and while i've been sitting around with my car at the dealer he was out there hitting the track dialing in better times and traps. i was looking down on him when actually its at the point where its a drivers race again and i got more whp than a standard stage 2. ******* christ if i have to blow my car up again to beat him........

 

fellow crsx member lol. i do not trap 106, my best is 104.4 however my mbc is and Boost cut defender is sitting in front one me waiting to be installed. 15.6 to 18 psi and an easy 20 whp not the mention a better powerband and the ability to hold more boost and hold it for longer. i predict an easy 105-106 trap. net that with a 2.0 60 again and i got myself a 13.4ish ride at about 105 on stock tires, with under 400 in power mods

 

i I know about the parts thats why i'm saying. Actually it would have been in my best intrest to race you ASAP before you get any quicker.

A 2.0 60' good god...

My best 60' on fwd is a 1.71

 

BS - GMS2 is good for 13.9 with a good driver. the best I have ever seen with GMS2 is 13.8.

but this mazda speed 3 needs some tweaking with driver mod. 2.0 60's? I can just about do that with the FWD Cobalt. I get 2.1's on stock tires quite often. never higher than a 2.2.

 

speed 3 is also fwd. in other words, he outlaunches you. trust me, and anyone else that acutally knows him, he absolutely does not need the driver mod

 

i've heard they are easy to launch though. from a couple different sources.

 

well my bad. I am not a mazda fan, I thought the speed3 was to be AWD. now I am even more dissappointed in Mazda. With that in light your right , driver mod is not needed. but to say he outlaunches me is not correct. A speed 3 out launches a Cobalt and that is straight up. great job Laloosh. Just another car some how better than a cobalt..... except it is tall, 4 doors, and has a hatch and it is not a domestic..... but life is not always fair.....LOL

 

ill bet you 20 bucks, give me 3 runs with your car and ill get you a low 2.1 high 2.0 60 on what ever pos tire ure running on there. its not the car people, all cars have the ability to be launched, in my specv i was hitting 2.1s with 175whp on 195 60 15 winter tires. on drag radials i hit a 1.92, i coudlnt go any lower cause it didnt have enough power. i took my buddies rsx and nailed a low 2.1 my second time, firs ttime was a 2.2. yes every car is a lil differnt to launch, but once you figure it out, every car has the ability to hit a good 60 in stock conditions. my specv which people say was a bitch to launch nailed 2.1s all day along on stock tires, and like i said even winter tires.

Well with slicks and 450HP I would hope you could do 1.6 to 1.7's. I have never been in a mazda speed3 and never been in a SpecV. but I ask you this. who has launched 2.0 with a cobalt on stock pirelli's? I dont think I have seen that yet.

 

i havnt seen some1 hit a 2.0 on the mazda boards either....its all bout the launch and how quick you are to adapt to whatever conditions are present that day.

A ms3 will never make 400 whp? its funny with a few mods they're making 350 360 on the stock turbo, upgrade the turbo, and guess what you have, omg a 400whp ms3. the ms3 is new, not ever1 has deep pockets, mr i put 9 grand into a neon. i know i certainly dont.

do you even realize what you posted? Thats not even a mazdaspeed 3, that a regular mazda. The year is a 2k5, ms3 came out in 2k7. no1 knows of the mods, for all i know that guys could be running drag radials. no proof of time slips or mods equals bullshit in my book

But then again if you wanna believe a regular mazda 3 with i/h/e/msd ignition runs a 13.9 than more power to you. lol

 

My point I guess is that that mazda launchs as good as your car or that driver is better at launching than you I guess. you tell me you have all the answers?
