Now thats love. Good job on not wrecking it. I would've probably done the same or worse. **** the haters, im jealous because i don't even know someone with a 9 second car let alone one that would let me drive it.

i cant describe to you how TERRIFIED i was. my boyfriend should have gotten a picture of me...i was literally death-grip-on-the-steering wheel, heart in my throat TERRIFIED. by run number 5 i was okay..not fine, but okay. run number 6 i switched to launching in 1st so all the scared came back.

people hating on new racers is one of the problems that causes low attendance at races. people are scared to be ridiculed if they dont run badass times their first time out.

if you arent hooked yet, you will be the first time you bring it up on the converter and cut a good 60. got any vids of him driving it? id like to see the 9 second pass

hes sitting right next to me and he says "it's a 3 speed auto with a non lock up converter. It's hitting the rev limiter as it crosses the line. With a manual it'd be in the 140's easily. Autos trap lower but run better ET's"

Sure ill give her props being her first time. But it's a 3 speed auto, it shouldnt be hard to get a 11sec pass even starting in 2nd. Hooking up with a 3 speed is also much easier.

um unless it has a hard hitting shift in the auto which it very well could be. And 600-800whp even in an auto it can still hit 2nd or 3rd hard enough to break loose and make it so all you see is wall.

You sir are a *******. You should just stop shoving your foot in your mouth. And, that was an 11 second pass fuckstick.

Props OP! I am very jealous. I would love to run a car like that, lol... but i would be too terrified to **** it up.

I have huge respect for you OP. Ive been around drag racing my whole life and can't believe you climbed into a 9 second car for your first pass. I have only raced 3 cars in my life. My slow LT cobalt around 16 sec, my SS/TC which is mid 13's and i finally raced my first race car which runs low 12's. I can definitely say my race car had me so nervous my first pass. Just wait till you get some more confidence and really launch that car, its an experience for sure!
