ok a stock 05 cavalier control arm bushing fit in my 05 ion I tested it. is that mean the urathane kit for a 05 cav will fit my 05 ion

I believe that I have the same Control arms as the FE5 suspension which are the aluminum ones and if that's the case then I don't think it will work for me because the arms on the base cars don't use the same bushings. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It would be nice to see just an n/a car run 11s but i think that is pushing it. Going to need 1000 shot of nitrous but in general it would be nice to see a 2.2 or 2.4 in 11s!

Yea I know what you mean. ZZP took their 2.4 on the turbo kit into the 11's. I'm pretty impressed with that.

I have to wait 2 weeks,then I get a new windshield,then its track time.But,it wont be no high to mid 14's.Im hoping for a 15.2 but well see

your cams are SO expensive though lol, and although i have never dove into a 2.4 engine...id assume **** was more complicated

oh..and jbp i believe is the only one that makes them and i wouldnt trust them to make a shift knob for me let alone cams....

Actually for a while the JBP cams were like $400 for the 2.4. I know what you mean though I'm kinda iffy on them and they're the only ones I know of right now.

I wonder If we can get some more attention by some of the vendors on the site if the competition gets big enough. The 2.4 needs more love.

*cough u mean second lol... im goin for 11s... and ill be following zzps build. im getting the turbo kit within the next 1.5 months since the s/c setup fell thru. then next jan its new clutch and next summer is the rebuild. ill be running basically their stg 2 w/drag radials till the rebuild

why not get custom grind cams from someone? you can get blanks or spares online pretty cheap.

i'm hoping to hit the track tonight lol ... we'll see how it all goes .. i wont be hitting 12's tonight.. however... in a month i should have a second car ...then i can not care about if i blow the car or burn out my clutch so i'll drop pully sizes .. so we'll be fighting it out for it lol

sounds good to me. tired of the lsj/lnf stuff on here. le5 holds the top spot. itd be nice if non shop cars were 2 and 3 on the entire site
