I don't mess with my tire pressure really, I think its a bit high at the moment (40psi) but never lower then 30-33 psi.

heinnnnnnnnnn
40 psi is my rear setup it hard very hard.

my recommendation from saturn is 32 psi

with 17' front 22psi and rear at max pressure and come back tell me that make a huge different for my 60' and trap speed

ohhhhhhhhh **** I gave you advice. maybe the luck will be with this tactic

dunkin i'd run 25-30 in the fronts and like 40 -45 in the backs .. that would be a good setup ,...also do the foot ball mod or something to stiffen up the rear

No it's definitely not. They really do help. Ever heard of drag bags? It's pretty much the same idea. When the back of your car squats down while you're launching or shifting gears you're doing nothing but losing time and traction.

You actually need to buy those like foam style Nerf footballs. You just smash them down and shove them in your springs. Then when they start to expand back up they'll stiffen up the back end of the car.

I don't have them in my car. My buddy with the 2.2 does though. i used to run a set of drag bags which is the same idea but they're actual airbags that go in the springs and you can adjust the pressure on them. Now I'm no coilovers so I don't have anything in there. No need. To get them in you have to jack up the car and let the axle droop out so the springs decompress. It's kind of a pain in the ass but it's definitely a worth while mod.

They're only a few bucks for a pair of them and I believe my buddy picked them up at Wal-mart. I believe they're called the junior ones. You need the bigger size to really fill out the springs.

I have no idea how you're thing got in there haha. I only meant it for hucker. If you have adjustable shocks/ struts there's really no need for them. I'm sure it would still help but not as much.

I don't really see why it would bring about any kind of legality issue. I know a few different cobalt guys run them. They'll never fall out or anything once they're in there. It's a great cheap alternative to drag bags which I paid $90 for.
