the tires im getting are 200$ and the rims are 200$ so 400$ total for rims and tires

unless your tires are DRs you are not seeing a one section drop in time. and even if they are you dyno shows you make power like a honda, all in the higher RPMs

if its worth anything i beat a stock 09 Lancer GTS today from a 50 roll, a 60 roll, and a dig.

so don't be afraid to take them out. they just look nice.

yes they are drag radials...real ones, and like huck said..i dont spend ANY time in the lower RPM after launch..and with DR's i shouldnt have any problems with keeping out of that at launch

burnout 2nd gear and launch between 2800rpm-3500rpm. just spinning a bit should help you.

but is not cause i have DR that I always do 2s', sometime I do 2.3s'.

particing is the key.

So Tom......in my neck of the woods the lane you are in both videos is the left lane.... not the right. The title of your first video even says LEFT lane.....your time slip says the left lane ran a 16@89mph. The second video of you(daytime) shows you running a 16.1X............ what gives?

Wheres the real proof?

now your just out to cause problems haha, my vids both show me running, the slips i posted is not of that run and it does not need to be, the vid is proof that my car ran that night and the slip is proof of the time i posted. neither nights i dont have video of the run, we didnt video tape every run. my timeslip is proof



why is it you all of a sudden seem to have it out for me? you are quite a bit turning from the helpful guy we all knew to the bitter guy who is always attacking and arguing...thats just the way that i see it and dont understand why.

there is no need to question my times, they are the truth, if i was going to lie about them i would have posted much better times then what those runs show...

not if you knew that posting lower times would have raised all kinds of BS flags within the community...

but im with maven on this one.

show us a real video'd time under 15s. go to the track one night and make sure to get it on video. post it and you'll never have any problems with anyone calling you out. and put the link for teh vid in your sig so you have proof next to that 14.xx

I dont have anything out for you,you arent my favorite person or anything, but dont place any artificial importance on my query as if I follow you around trying to cause problems. If that were the case wouldnt I have said something about this long ago? It came up in the new post queue so I checked out what there was to check out.

I am not out to cause problems, just to ask what the deal is with showing a 14.9 timeslip and a 16.1 video. If that causes problems then something must be up, right?

The reason you cant post much better times is because EVERYONE would be questioning it, not just me.

wil be at the track sat...but whether you "believe it or not" the times are staying on the list as i have adhered to the rules as currently stated.

people can call me out cause they feel threatened by me or whatever, i dont car proof has been given, the only number the same on ALL my timeslips from this year at this track has been the same, all the other lanes has been different. My racing number at pacific raceway is 2050. this weekend it will be different as i am going to a diff track for the weekend in portland instead of seattle where i have gone before.

and btw, alot of people, more then a good percentage thought i was going to do a mid 14, so i could have posted lower and gotten away with it but havent...

my proof is:my racing number listed on the CAR and on the slip is the same...try that one on for size and youll have all the proof you need for this..no more no less

ok, so number is on the other side of the car, but point is, that is my car, running the 14.95

deal with it...

and why HASNT this been argued before, if you all thought it was BS then why call me out now? why feel the need to start arguments and problems that arent needed. The rules state that i need to post my slip of the run and a video or pic of me AT THE TRACK doesnt even need to be of the run, just a pic of me chillin would do...i have done this,
if you dont like the rules set forth by this competiton, then dont come into the thread and dont bother posting as you have much less proof that i didnt run the that run then i did...

I will have video this weekend, but i may not have the run of the day as i am sharing my camera for runs inside the car witha friend (using my camera mount) and wouldnt be able to see the time from inside the car anyway, so how would you know that was the run anyways??? you wouldnt. All you need to know is: i was there racing, that is my timeslip as the number is the SAME both days and that we dont always stay in the same lane, its luck of the draw

well you know how you can bypass all the problems with having to mount a camera and have it see the time you post? have on of your friends film you in the lane and finishing a run. then have him/her film what time you post. idk about the tracks by you but i sure as hell know the tracks by me have a HUGE ******* board that shows your ET and mph....

so before giving me all these god damn excuses as to why you cant mount the camera in car and have it show the time use your head.

a person outside your car can perfectly capture your car in lane and your time with trap speed.

woah. that took soo much thinking. my brain is hurting.

CAN they, yes, and sometiems they do, but its cool and nice to have some from inside too. just saying i cant predict which of my nightly runs will be the best, and although i can have my friend video tape from the side, if i choose to have it on the inside the ONE best run you all get all butt hurt.....all you need to know is what number my car is, that i was really there, and see the slips, other then that STFU, if you dont believe me then GTFO

im not the one getting butt hurt here. its just the fact that you won't post a video of you breaking 15.

that's all i ask. hell run a 14.99 and i'll be contempt. im just saying you posting a sub 15 second run then showing a vid for a 16 doesn't quite add up to me, unless you used the ricer style of logic and assumed that that ridiculous wing you have on your 2.2 makes you a second faster.

I didnt run a 16 in that vid, as i said, in the vid you cant see what time i ran at all, and the timeslip i posted is not one that matches the vid...
i havent run a 16 sec 1/4 EVER
and that"rediculous" wing is a factory one, if you dont like it so much, then go and make a thread calling out EVERY cobalt with one on them

i have time slips, witnesses, my own word...you have...what? nothing...exactly lol

im not going to go out RIGHT NOW and break into the track and make them let me run, soonest i am getting to a track is saturday next week, and IF I get my best run on camera then ill post that one, but I will have a video to post, should be sub 14 sec run, no reason why not. but Im not promising Ill have the best run on video, but if you are all too short minded and really (not sarcastically) retarded to realize that if i have the racing number for one run, and it shows me running, and i show you another slip witha better time witht he same number, then that is proof enough...if you cant get that then you need to hand in your keys and go back to elementry school where we all learned word and picture assosiation...

just because your sad that your 2.2 is too slow and not as fast as me doesnt mean you need to sit here and attempt to discredit a PROVEN time. Go out, get your own time, and post up to get on the list...instead of wasting your time spinning your tires with illogical and unsound attempts at insults and your uncanny ricer logic of discrediting my accomplishments
