well when I hear a muscle car having cams,fully built motor,they usually sound great,I honestly have not heard a cobalt with cams or that matter a fully built N/A motor in real life.Videos may sometimes not be the actual sound in real life.

and yes I am proud of my car, so shoot me that I am actually enthusiastic about it and think that it does a decent job for what it is.
I never said in this argument that I am better for being able to be tuned by vince in person, but it is a fun card to play to rustle some feathers sometimes, just like you would do if you lived here cause he is an awesome friend and VERY knowledgable person in the world of cars and tuning.

the "arguments" with huck is for the most part purely fun, i never said in this competition that the ion shouldnt be allowed to compete, i stated in another thread on another subject that it shouldnt be allowed to the verbatum wording in THAT thread. i am genuinly concerned that if he cuts apart his car it is a danger to him and others, let him do what he wants to get the best time he can, but i do feel there is a point at which you need to move on to another modding solution.

 

its not a factory option you ******* idiot. dealer installed option and factory installed are two different things. you cant have the gmpp intake installed at factory but the dealer can do it. which means its not a stock option. much like the high rise wing on a 2.2.

thats part of the point, 99% of the people who have heard the car are VERY interested as most people havent heard or seen a 4 banger cammed out...not many people do it. but every one of those (including guys with fully built, cammed, bored, stroked) drag cars and street cars alike compliment me on it. I ran into a guy with an old school camaro with a 500+ whp built engine in it one day and we got to talking and he was very impressed with the car.

huckernage probably puts down close to 160-170 to the wheels .. and his car weighs about 400 lbs less then yours will on race day.. he has a lightened flywheel and some other lightened pullies so his car revs faster.. and he was running on DR's ... so you have an advantage of MAYBE 20 or so whp.. and drag bags...

I dont think my car is any better then an SS, but saying that I think that someone building a car rather then just signing on the line for some power has somethign that can be said for that. I dont think any model of this car is any better then any other. I believe they are great in each of their own ways and can be built for what they are without people like you thinking its a waste and putting it down just because you either dont like what you have or are envyous of the 2.0's

Yes I do get passionate about my car, but I have spent ALOT of time, blood, sweat, tears, and money working on this car and I love this car, it is my passion and hobby and im not giving up, thinking any less of it, or changing anything just because more of you think i should then shouldnt. I am building this car for me and I would hope that as there are some people on this site that are genuinly passionate about these cars as well i could share that, but according to you apparently not.

I know my car isnt "all that" but like we have both said...lots of work that i am proud of that i like to share, and to share the experiance with locals,...i usually spend 1-2 weekends a mo showing locals or helping them mod their cars, helping them get the mechanical basics knowledge that i got while working on mine....

him and i were in complete communication the whole time about payment, we had set up an arangment in advance and something came up that we needed to deal with, frankly none of your businessat all and it shows me how little respect you have for anyone around you. whether or not you like me, attempting to attack any financial situation i may be in is a pretty lousy attempt to make yourself feel like you have "won the argument"
