Well, because when I turbo the LSJ, it kinda doesn't seem like it would count since it comes s/c'd stock. I was just checkin to make sure changing the f/i method wouldn't count me out.
yeah. as long as you don't swap in another engine....unless its another LSJ. you can do whatever the hell you want
I'm only gettin away with it cuz my dad passed away and left me an annuity. Some might call it being a spoiled brat or w/e, but he wasn't around when i was growing up and this was his way of saying sorry I'd like to think. And to anyone that might say I'm a spoiled brat, I'm not. I didn't have anything growing up and for once, I'd like to splurge on myself instead of having to wonder how the hell I'm gonna pay the rent or put gas in my car. Just wanted to get that outta the way before someone starts flaming me over it lol

forget about sportlines, get coilovers. sportlines are meant to drop the car. not help it launch. you won't need the axles if you have the mounts/tires. traction bars won't do anything, brakes....i guess. that clutch maaaaaaay work. and you're going to need a set of 15" wheels so you can run like a 25" or 26" tall tire. also. you may want to look into some severe weight reduction and a cage. you may laugh at the cage idea but, unibody+6pt=harder launches. so if i were doing your build. i'ld go with:
ottp mounts
coilovers
15x8 fronts
15x4 rears
26x10.5 front tires
26x4.5 rear tires
6pt cage
weight reduction
i know for a fact. you'll be very, VERY lucky to hit 11s with nothing more than rotated mounts, wheels/tires, clutch. plus when tuning the car. you may want to tune it more agressively than you normally would. or have two seperate ones. a tune for the track will be nothing like a tune for the street

I don't think the stock axles will hold the power, especially with drag slicks and a good, hard launch. Plus, I can't afford to have someone fab up a cage for me right at the moment. I'm doing what I need to do to get the car going and out to the track. I have in the future plans a cage, seats, and harnesses. I'm not really lookin to do a whole lot of gutting the car either, I wanna keep it looking stock...ish.
Also, I've had lots of ppl tell me the Spec 3+ clutch will be just fine, including OTTP

they do, but all its takes is very minimal sanding/grinding of the calipers. nothing that would structuraly impare it though.
stock axles will hold the power if you don't hop. those mounts coupled with a good set of tires will eliminate the hop. i cant, no matter what i do, get my car to hop now that i have the stage2 mounts.
