drew, you really don't need them unless you go to the dragstrip ALOT and really want to take advantage of traction and acceleration. since you've been autocrossing and say you don't hop and you just spin, i'ld invest in a nice set of track tires instead of the mounts

wheel spin isnt much of a prob at auto-x, but ya im gettin track tires on my stock rims and gettin ASA ar1's for my dd rims. but thats after struts and shocks. lol i dont think the dragstrip is something im gifted for lol i suck at it

are u sure u need 79's? wat did paul and angel use?

 

i would use 79s if you're gonna go with the hahn turbo kit. leaves a lot more room for fine tuning

 

dont the 72s have a flow rate of like 400+whp? i would think those would be more than enough

 

man you confuse me so much. so you say youre not gifted at the track and suck at it cause you ONLY spin, not hop. which leads me to believe you don't feel or want to go that often. but you DO go autoxing a lot but you don't spin. so....i'm REALLY thinking you won't need these mounts hahah. not that they're bad or anything, cause theyre freakin awesome. they just aren't really the thing to suit your needs

no i mean i dont really spin at the auto-x cuz i dont launch that hard cuz theres usually a turn really quick, and im not a fan of the 1/4 mile i really want to atleast get in the 13s and be able to launch alright on the streets if ppl talk ****

 

that's why I'm gettin the 79's. i'd rather have more injector than I actually need than not enough and have to buy another set again

then just get out there more. theres no reason you shouldn't be in the 13s. i'm sure i can go deeper than 13.78 cause if you watch the video, i spun through first and a little in second. but it was also about 40* out. so i went again when it was warmer and hooked great, but i heat soaked like crazy with the 2.8 and no cooling. so then i put the ottp h/e on, but never got out to the track. and now that i have the mounts/tires/he. i hook, i don't heat soak....but my clutch is slipping.....FML
