those are some werid times. I have seen faster and slower for some oif those cars.
Back in the day it was common for cars to be seceretly tuned by the manufactuer so the magazines got better times. Plus they did have crappy tires.

I like the Hurst Olds and Hemi Challenger...The Hemi Challenger they uses had a clutch that was about to go out, so that time might have been a tenth or three lower, but that's what they ran on the show.
