Again, thanks alot. It really is impressive and the thing is as time goes on more and more people will hit those times. Its only a matter of time and devolpment that the Cobalt SS/SC and cobalts in general will receive alot of resepect. Hate to say it, but maybe even gain respect like some of those fast Honda turbos....(not sure if I should of said that or not lol)


Nope, the lady told me that the time was PM. Someone made a Boo boo when they set the time. However I did run my best stock time in the morning at Maple Grove PA.

Not necessarily true..I only have GM stg2, 2.79 pulley, Injen CAI and one-step colder plugs and according to my interceptor gauge on one run just messin around, I hit a 13.7 at 107mph...I think thats pretty close

 

Yea, I'm hoping to hit another +1 mph with GMPP manifold and once I get drag radials and dual pass I should hit 12.8 @ 110. Thats the goal.


I agree. You know, you could be faster man. I ran a 14.0 @ 106 on the interceptor. That should give you hopes considering it was off 4 tenths. Then again I only used my buddies like 2 times on the street. I very well could of ran those times it showed. I had a few passes in the 14s and I even had a pass, my first pass in the 15s. I spun off 1-4 gears haha.

That would put you to 13.3 @ 109 or so. That could be done with your mods man. Good luck!

 

I can admit I'm not the best launcher, but I can say I can shift a car much faster then most. Our clutch is touchy. I already knocked off 2 tenths with shifting differant. After I hit 12s I'm going to post a How To Prepare for the Track Thread. It will give details about how to increase mph and 1/4th mile times without changing mods. I really wish I would of talked to this drag professional when I was stock...*sob*

A 2.3 60" is good I think with stage II on bald stock tires man. Its not best I'm sure though.

 

well no one that is fast is shifting slow so you can't be making up that much ground. what is you elevation?
