I'm not saying it's not. It just resembles a rwd slip of a 13.9 ET.

What kind of mods?

I have a 2.9" pulley, 60lb injectors from zzp, dual pass end plate, K&N CAI, ingall stiffy, brand new clutch from crate engine depot, zzp axles, and powell tranny mount with an HP tune from sskev. And today I put on my 26/8.5/15 MT Slicks. All day was getting 14.04, and 14.11 until the last pass which was my 13.990. Finally Found the sweet spot where it likes to leave

If you can get some pictures I'll put it up. Those tires are a double edged blade for an m62 car lol. They'll get you out of the whole, but down track they'll hold you back. Way too tall to start off let alone when they grow. It just destroys the powerband.

Makes sense, I thought an m62 with 2.9 and slicks should run faster than that

Yeah I definitely found that the tires worked amazing off the light but your right it was terrible at the top end. I pretty much got the slicks for free when I bought the rims so they were worth a try. Im looking for shorter ones now But trial and error I guess. And I can def send some pics

Yeah post them up in here.

24.5" is ideal for us. 23" would be better with the 250 or 260 you're putting down it would give you some better gearing.

It made 250 at the wheels on the dyno without the downpipe and with the stock clutch

So would his 26" slicks work good for someone with 500+?

What was your tire pressure at the track?

The 26"s do look mean and intimidating, they're just too big.

Still too big. 24.5" has been going 8s and 9s on fwd cars for a long time now. Ryan and Matt both ran 24.5"s on their cars a well. Cmiller did. Zrated did. 2010ss did.. I'm going to. You get my point haha.

They had 10lbs in them. I went up to 12 and as low as 8 but it liked 10

I'll be at the track in 2 weekends. On 24.5" slicks instead of 26". Other changes since the 12.2 @119 is 2.6" pulley instead of 2.7, zzp S2 cams, and correct IC pump wiring

I'm just going to try and break into the 12's on street tires.. its going to be a rough time doing so though.. my last time I ran was 13.5 @ 107 on a very conservative 91 Octane HPtune.. now that I'm on E47 with quite a large bump in timing and much quicker 60-100 times I'm hoping I can at the very least get to a low 13 @ 11X, but this all gets into the traction game, where to set my torque management tables, throttle control, n yeah.. my stiff sidewalled BFG KDW's arent helping the situation (last 60' I got was a 2.222 on them aired down to 25ish psi)
