well the 60' is nice but why such a low trap speed?
last time at the track, it was 80 degreesand humid so after the burnout and pass my iats were 140+.
and one of my spark plugs were loose enough to hear ticking. i though it was valve tap or something at the time. and my tires were at 14 psi. so that was all working against me. 13.9 @100ish
this time its gonna be 55, nice cool dense air, my ***** running right, 3" zzp intake, carbon fiber wingblade, (im fcking set on KILL!) and im gonna try a high psi in the tires for less high speed rolling resistace. im hoping to see sub 13.5 and 105+. I gotta drag some plastic.
ill stiffen my rear konis if i have to

Traps n what not can vary from track to track though.I ran 14.5 @ 96 at one track and 14.4 @ 100.6 at another. Temps were about the same and I run my tires between 15 and 18 pending track conditions. Should also note this was on a last minute change back to a single pass endplate and no meth.
Are you driving it right? Lolol
Its usually 100+ degrees here in the summer. My iat2 would get to the 140s then. At the end of a pull. Dont know why yours are so crazy.
Rice what are your 1/8 times? Lol.

I have ran a 13.01 @ 108mph with a halfway shitty clutch LAST YEAR, and my car is not running good right now, but has a new gmpp clutch and ran a 13.2 @109 and 13.3 @ 111mph. It is always hot and humid here, but sea level elevation.
How the hell are you guys running as fast as me with no mods and a conservative tune????

You should be able to get 25+ out of the E85 for timing
Ive accidentally ran 30* of timing and 13 AFR when I was trying out different injector scalings on the TVS and 2.7 with no knock. I know a few people who have done worse. There is either something coming apart in your motor making it knock or the knock sensor is picking up on a rattle on the car somewhere. I'd look for the 2nd one first, then if you find nothing, do a compression and leak down test. Dumb question, but are you sure it is E85?

I had stoich set to 9.8 but the STFT were roughly -5 across the board ,so rather than adjust the MAF or flow rate i just changed the stoich value -5% .STFT vs MAF dropped into +/- 1 to 0 my wide band also read about 1 lambada so i'm gonna assume this was a good method. So stoich is set to 10.299 as of right now. According to a spread sheet i found stoich of 10.3 is roughly E76 , i know most e85 changes to e70 for winter so this would make sense (totally unnecessary in fl lol)
The car dose have 150k+ miles on it, i did a compression test maybe 6th months ago, 190-195 across the board. maybe i'll do a leak down test. The knock doesn't always happen but when it dose it roughly at the same rpm, and i see a little knock between shifts
each log is on the same tune about 15-20 mins apart.
drag strip logs - a set on Flickr
PE is 7.4 (about .7 lambada)
Sorry for the thread jack lol i'll make a post in tuning.
yes i'm running a wideband. I was set to .76 but added more fuel after taking away timing didn't help. Also just noticed i have a exhaust leak at the ball flange (pacesteer pos) so i'm hacking that off this weekend and welding on a vband.
Stupid day at the track today. 2 wrecks and rain. It was glorious and only got 4 runs.
Managed this on the dumb day. Babying first and second. It has so much more on slicks. Only reason why I went today was cause I got talked into it by a couple buddies of mine.
Usual mods. 4.45s, ZFR, I, IC, CP, DP, T, Street tires

I was only half throttling first if that and second spins once the turbo spools. Third and forth are golden though. My cars getting stored this Saturday so there won't be anything more from me until next year. Definitely planning on getting the M&H slicks or doing a brembo delete and getting 15"slicks next year. This year sucked for numbers on my part. Things kept breaking and I just didn't have any time.
