Went to the 1/8th mile today. Thought it would be awesome. Before I made it to the end of my street fuel pump relay came unplugged, so obviously car shut down, fixed it then proceeded to the track. Buddy shows up 04 MACH 1, new to him two prior visits to the track with it. I whoop him all day from both lanes. My best was 8.97 @ 84MPH w/ 2.22 60', his best was 9.000 @ 83.5. Final run I cut 2.15 60' but where is second gear... wait where is first... limp dick shifter This is now the fourth new roll pin in the damn shift linkage to the tranny. O well good day I guess beating up on mustangs all day. There were a couple autos in the same year group as the mach one running mid 9's, then there were an ass load of track only cars running high 6's. Will post slip for proof later if needed

 

rollpins weak in SC's? or do you shift like paul walker from F&F?
