So I went to the SEGME with a friend of mine. I was originally going to take my 300ZX but do to some radiator issues I just rode along with him. We towed his supercharged J-body to the meet in Steele, AL with his Pathfinder.

Saturday was track day so I took advantage of the opportunity to do a few passes in the Pathfinder an it surprised me! I was able to get that beast of an SUV to run a 14.950 @ 90mph, which ironically was faster than most of the J's there lol. The VQ40DE is nothing to sneeze at. It was actually a blast racing the Pathfinder. Its been a while where I took something down the track that had me grinning ear to ear every time I launched it. I know its not the fastest thing, hell both my cars are way faster, but the Pathfinder was just a hoot to blast down the track in!

For whatever reason my mph wasn't right on the slip. My mph was 90mph all day long so I know that's what it was. Also had a 14.997 @ 90mph, where the 90mph was on the slip.

 

I'm not gonna lie I'm impressed with those times for an SUV that really isn't performance oriented.

You need to get Mark to add an SUV category to the new drag dimes thread.

 

I'm pretty sure someone got video of me running it. I'll post it later if there is. In the road back to Florida now.

 

Lol suv should be added. My moms traverse is rated at 15.6 And I would like to take it to the track lol. I wonder what a few bolt ons if there is any and a tune would do

Yeah it moves out pretty well. I'm wanting to run it down here in Florida or in Valdosta, Georgia. I think I can squeeze a 14.8 out of it at a faster track!
