Went back to Cecil again tonight.

After running a disappointing 13.9 at 102.9 a few weeks back I decided to get the car tuned and head back down. I made 4 passes tonight and the increased torque/no torque management is a handful. I had torque management turned off because it had severe wheel hop with it on...now it spins. Id rather spin than break something. Driving the car stock was pretty easy...now I dont know wtf i'm doing.

The main reason I headed down tonight was my friend called me out with his 2002 Firehawk. We lined up twice with him winning the first run with a 13.24 to my 13.51. The second run he red lighted and ran a 13.41 to my 13.43. We're 1-1 right now.

Weather was in the mid 80s and alittle muggy. Track prep was actually decent for a Wednesday night at Cecil.

1st pass -

R/T - .158
60ft - 2.32
330ft - 6.02
1/8 - 8.94
MPH - 85.14
1000 - 11.40
1/4 - 13.51
MPH - 106.99

I tried launch control and the car stopped as soon as I started releasing the clutch. It bogged bad and then spun through first. I didn't use NLS on the 1-2 or 2-3 but did use it on the 3-4 shift.

2nd pass -

R/T - .052
60ft - 2.28
330ft - 5.96
1/8 - 8.87
MPH - 85.17
1000 - 11.33
1/4 - 13.43
MPH - 107.45

No launch control this time. I launched at 2200rpm and the car rode out about 10ft...the turbo spooled and blew the tires off in first gear. I held it at the rev limiter for a bit and went for 2nd...it bogged alittle and picked back up. I used NLS on the 3-4 shift again. I told myself i'm done racing for the night and watched racing for alittle bit. Than I got the itch to go back and run again...I wish I didn't

3rd pass -

R/T - .151
60ft - 2.24
330ft - 6.19
1/8 - 9.18
MPH - 83.61
1000 - 11.67
1/4 - 13.78
MPH - 106.68

This pass was leaving from 2400 and it felt decent. I NLS'd the 1-2 shift and the spun pretty bad. No NLS 2-3 but did so on the 3-4

4th pass - 17.79 at 63.55 with a 2.22 60ft. I lowered the tire pressure down to 20psi. It was by far going to be the best pass of the night. I launch it smooth at 2000rpm and it took off great....I was so anxious I ******* missed 2nd gear I honestly think that would have been a low 2.1 if not 2.0 60ft and I would have gotten my 13.2 I wanted....not tonight.

I'm going to wait for some cooler weather before I run the car again. Some of the cars running tonight were off 1-2mph compared to a 60 degree night...my friends Firehawk got a best of 106.5 tonight were he's gone 108.5 in slightly cooler weather. I'm hoping for a lower 13 second time at 108 or so once the weather cools down.

It was nice meeting ya CudaJoe. I'm diggin the sedan...kinda wish I got one now.

Also, my friend set the record for the fastest cam only C6 Z06 vette with a 10.48 at 135 tonight too!

I accidentally slipped the clutch too quickly on my second run and bogged reall bad. ran a 14.76@ 101.9 mph. aweful. The sedan is cool but from now on, im gonna be known as the taxi around here should have grabbed the silver sedan over in towson...
