Depends on how you launch, the lower the 60 ft times, most likely the harder you launch. You might want to look into the GMPP axles for the SS/SC that are modified LNF axles to fit the LSJ

I have drag radials on my ss w stage 2 nitto 555 245 50 16, they just barely fit with the stock suspension only approx half inch or so no rubbing noted at all i have been ok with stock axles and i launch hard but if i feel any wheelhop at all i immed let off, my clutch is ok w street tires but starting to slip w the DR's from 1st to 2nd, I have the TTR engine mount and prothane tranny mounts which eliminated wheelhop 95% when i first put the DR's on i didnt have the mounts holy did i get wheelhop even on the street not even full throttle if i was a betting man i would say if i upgrade the clutch ie the weak spot i may break the axles, but wheelhop i agree is the definite breaker of axles. Ive seen a civic with 120 hp break an axle due to wheelhop

You wont snap anything if you know how to launch, haha i ran hoosier slicks and was fine babying it and cutting 2.0 60fts, wanted to launch harder but the clutch slipped too bad.
