Has anyone ever heard of a cobalt being converted over to a all wheel drive application?

If I were you i'd just throw a jeep frame under it! I'm sure the wheels base is close, how hard could it be?! Now go get yourself a sawzall and get started!

Unless you completely overhaul the Cobalt's body and chassis, you're not gonna do it. The unibody wasn't designed with a driveshaft tunnel to accomodate rear drive wheels.

i was curious about the vue awd swap recently as well, i thin it would be fkn awesome, but i dont know if the awd came in manual. a trans tunnel isnt that hard to do... and the rear end setup wouldnt be too terribly hard because of the twisting rear beam setup. this all given you have a shop and skill to do it lol, but i supposed slow swap is right about the rack

i lold

i kinda want to know if this swap is feasible, aside from the trans tunnel and rear end, because the trans bolts up to the 2.2( i r base) im pretty sure that means it would bolt up to the lsj
