Adjusting the lnf clutch

Ok my clutch needs replaced but im trying to get by another month cuz im gonna do it over the winter along with my turbo. The car is still driveable it just slips 3rd gear thru 5th under full boost. My question is everynow and again when i go to start the car, it acts like the clutch isnt fully engaging and the car trys to turn over but it dont because the clutch is still engaged. Is there enuff slack in the cable to bring the pedal back a lil bit so it disengages when i push the pedal down to start the car?? I hope sum1 understands what im talking about through my description before i go and try to adjust it and make it worse because that is my luck

Well the cobalt has a hydraulic clutch so unless there is air in the line that you can bleed out no can't adjust it. Pressure plate might be going bad causing your clutch to slip also. Should be ok for another month though just be nice to it.
